W.E. ROCK GRAND NATIONALS PRESS RELEASE
W.E.ROCK, the World Extreme Rock Crawling Series; will hold their Grand National Rock Crawling Championships in Spring, Texas on September 14-16. Houston’s most popular ATV and off-road riding area, Spring Creek Off Road Park, just minutes from Old Town Spring, will become the battlezone for this extreme motorsport event. The competition features the best Extreme Rock Crawlers from across the nation as the “East Meets West” to decide who’s the
best in the USA. W.E.ROCK estimates that 60 teams will be competing for top US honors and a berth in the upcoming W.E.Rock World Championships in Australia.
Both Saturday and Sunday mornings, spectator gates at the Spring Creek Off Road Park will open at 9am with Extreme Rock Crawling action continuing until about 4pm each day. Sunday at around 3pm, the non-stop action will come to a peak as the 12 top teams will go head to head in the final round, known as the “Shootout”. Event spectator parking this year will be
located near the main entrance to Old Town Spring. A regular shuttle service will be provided.
Rock Crawling “W.E.ROCK” style, is a motorsport where teams navigate their purpose-built 4x4 vehicles (Rock Crawlers) over unimaginable obstacles. Their gravity defying machines climb impossible climbs, dive off insane vertical drops, and thrill the crowds with spectacular rollovers. It is a great event for the entire family, promising lots of action in a safe, friendly spectator environment. Food and drink vendors will be located on site, as well as clean
restroom facilities. Local and national 4 wheel drive parts vendors will be on hand and event specific merchandise will be available. It is suggested that spectators bring their favorite camp or folding chairs to make “enjoying the action” a little more comfortable.
Spring Creek Off Road Park is the biggest and best natural and man-made off road course in
the Houston metro area and has recently seen a huge “facelift” and course upgrade in order to truly challenge W.E.Rock’s best teams.
