ok im tryign to figure out where to cut and instal a line output converter for the stock radio, with nav and everything (what i have) and the onlything i found that looks like it has everyhting listed that i have that i need to know about is this

so what wires would i need to cut to instal a line output converter? from the instalation papers fromt eh converter it says to use the rear speaker line but i have heard it is better to get the rear speaker wire before it goes in the RF amp (again what i have) but i cant see where it tells about which is which

any help is appreciated and sorry about the pic, it was the only way i knew to save a picture (with a screen shot)

also if anyone needs to know i have a CC, with RF packedge, navi packedge, and the rear dvd entertainment thing and the output converter i have is an IEC AULOC (bough off ebay a couple months ago but can supposedly handle 2 - 40 or 60 watts)

the schematic is nice, but the wiring diagram would help you better since it has the color of the wires and which harness it goes into. It starts on page AV-20 of the service manual. If you don't have it, I could email you those pages as pdf's. I sat and figured out all my harnesses one night off of the wiring diagram, and label them, that way it will always be easier to figure out what wire is what. I don't have the RF system or I would tell you which are which.

This is a cross-section of the pic that you have. These are the rear speakers diagram that come from the head unit. Splice into it there near the head unit harness.

ok yeah pg 20 is more detailed on the amp part, thanks, but that still leaves the question of which set of wires to splice into, or does it even matter?

My diagram comes direct off of the head unit.

im sorry, i was just laying back in my chair and i thaught about what i posted and it made me go, WTF am i talking about? for some reason i wasnt thinking strait and apparently i forgot there are 4 wires on this output converter (thinking there were only 2) and 4 wires in that diagram, so that had me confused

wait i have 1 more quick question its about the color abreviations (if thats what they really are) of those wires, this is actually kind of ebarasing but i want to be positive what does these stand for

BR (i am quite shure that is brown)
B/R
L
B/W

BR=Brown
B/L=Black with Blue stripe
L=Blue
B/W=Black with White stripe
