Ok, I'm considering a dvd player in the truck, but I don't want to spend $400-$1000 on one so I was looking at a dual screen portable dvd player at walmart (here's the link) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3639085

My question is this, the screens are meant to be non-permanently attached to the back of the headrests, but I'm trying to come up with an idea to be able to "mount" (preferrably non-permanently also) one of the screens to the middle dash pocket above the radio.

I figured if anybody out there could come up with something it would be you brainiacs on club titan. Can't wait to here some ideas. Thanks.

hmmm wish there was a better view of the back to look at. But I'm going to wal-mart later today so I'll try to look at one.

well i have that same dvd player in my truck and i dont think you will be able to mount it. if you had a seat cover then you could probably hide it in there, and run the wires down the back and to the player. you should get a y connecter if you get this one so that you can hook up the sound comeing from your player to your a/v input on the dash. but it isnt very loud. you will need a booster for that line someone was talking about that on a nother thread cant remember which one but someone might let you know. but i like it and my daughter likes it. :fan2:

Hi bking, go to this site www.webzone.us and check out what they have. I just bought a 15" monitor and DVD player from them. Their stuff is excellent and you can't beat the price.

That is perfect! I'm so getting one of those to keep my daughter happy during road trips. That's exactly what I was looking for, and don't worry dude, I'm so finding a place to mount them, nothing is impossible to me.

Ohh, build a bracket to attach it to the head rest posts, you know the little metal bars that attaches the head rest to the seats, you can make the LCD stay put by adding velcro to the back

They have brackets that you can attach to the headrests to mount tv. They are pretty cheap, about $15 a piece. Also there are company that make universal fit headrest with the hole already cut out for 7" monitor, I've seen them for about $100 a pair (no need to cut up your OEM headrests). Also two headrest with built in monitor can be had for about $250 to $300.
Here's a sample of two monitor with headrest clamps.
