All of you who own the XE trim level Titans: did any of you get body side mouldings on your truck when you bought it? From the factory I mean, not as an add-on item from your dealer. Reason I ask is that the Nissan web site said that BSM's came standard on ALL trim levels (when they were still showing specs/options for the 2004 models). Just curious if anyone actually did get the mouldings from the factory.

Seemed like when I was looking for Titans this past October every XE was lacking the bsm's.

My XE didn't come with the side moldings. I sure wish they would have been included. If you find out any info let us know.

Ditto, I also wish they were there.

Don't have an XE, but I have never seen one with them. If you kept it, check your window sticker and see if it shows it as a standard item. If it is there, I would call your dealer and ask them when you can come in and have them installed for free.

My Titan XE did not have the body side mouldings and I am looking for some aftermarket if they are available. Does anyone know where I can find them?

There are these on e-bay.

Those are for KC, but he has a picture of CC so I would imagine he has them.

I checked my window sticker; no joy there. I also went back to the Nissan site and they have only the stuff for the '05's listed now, and of course there is no "S" next to body side mouldings on the XE. I know for a fact that the site had them listed as standard right before I bought my truck. Edmunds and KBB confirmed it by listing them as standard items, also. I even complained about it on the survey that I received in the mail after my purchase. Never heard anything about it, of course. Guess us XE owners are SOL. I wish now that I had made a screen shot of the site page when I was checking them out.

By the time I got around to the Titan in November, there was nothing mentioned for side moldings. I intended to add them to my XE. I'm gonna phone that guy on e-bay and see if he has them in black. If he does I'm probably goin' for it!!!

In November when I bought my truck, the dealer said the side moldings could only be purchased seperately, but an entire kit was supposed to come out soon that would cost less.

I called 2 days ago and nothing yet. He said the Nismo site usually gets the news before they do.

Has anyone tried those chrome ones? Just curious what the whole truck looks like with them and the quality. I'd hate to pay $95 for some cheap crap that looked well, like crap.

I got them for Christmas. I'll let you know and post pics as soon as I get them on. I need to wait for a warmer day. It says it needs to be 60 outside before I put them on. That won't happen for a few months so I'll have to warm up the garage and give it a go.

Should look REALLY good on your truck....you also got some chrome steps now, didn't you? Just enought chrome to "set" it all off nicely!

I don't have the steps, they are what I would really liked to have had. The moldings will look good on my XE though. I just think that the doors are to plain without something to break it up on the XE's. The molding comes coiled up, but not real tight. It is about a quarter inch thick. I think it is going to look good on the truck, I just thought it would have been shipped in straight, stiff pieces. I may be able to get them installed today and post pics.

Here are the pics. The moldings went on in about 30 minutes. They were pretty easy to install. When I put them on it was about 37 degrees outside, and I don't think I will have problems with them falling off. I like the way they look on the XE. It makes it look more like an SE or LE. What do you guys think?

Oh yeah, I am definately digging those. I have the same truck, same window tint it appears as well. I will have to get a set of those, it will go well with the new chrome mirrors, door handles and bumper.

Suprisingly I like those. If they were black I would get them for mine.

I don't think it looks like an LE or an SE, I think it looks like a nice tricked out XE!!!

That trim does it well. Good Job.

If you are worried about the temps, see if you can get it in a warmer garage and go over them with a big hair dyer or lightly with a heat gun.

I'm checking in to the black ones but I have my own ideas for them. If it works out I'll post pics.

I gots to get me A set of those. Man they look good!!
I wish I would of had them before I got my first ding on my door. Insurance got A hold of me today so I went down to get an estimate. It was close to 500 bucks just to get A ding or should I say a crease out of my door. Soon as I get it back from the body shop I'm gonna get me A set of those body moldings
and hopefully avoid all those parking lot dings :D
