After a preliminary vote and poll that was very close these are the finalists for the TEAM VK56 slogan.

“Try and Keep Up”

“Addicted Generation”

“Born Competitors, Race Day Predators”

The final slogan would of coarse be paired with the TEAM VK56 designation but just how is still undecided. Also when voting, please consider graphics possibilities because the graphics are what will make the whole thing work for us.

As before, you need not be a member of the club yet to cast a vote.

The voting will continue for a week unless it’s a landslide and if that’s the case, we will end the voting early and start the graphics portion of the contest.

I just can't think of good graphics that tie into it or the other like I can for the predator slogan.

I hate to throw a monkey in the wrench here, but can we maybe seperate the last slogan into 2? I personally like "Born Competitors". However i will vote "Addicted Generation" if these are the only choices.

It seems that the part of that slogan that generated the most interest was the predator part anyway. That slogan was to try and mix the old, that's us with the new, that's everybody under 35, lol. If the born competitor slogan wins, it will likely be separated out into two anyway, like born competitors above Team VK56 and the predator part below. I like the idea of having the predator graphics and all the kids like that sort of thing so I think we would be able to have more than just club members wearing the shirts. I know my grandson is starting to like the scary stuff now and so do a lot of people. If you can't stand it though, I understand, there just weren't that many slogans that got much support. Out of all the slogans submitted there was only one more that got support and it lost out on getting into the final three because it only got 1 vote. A lot of people submitted slogans but not many people supported them so this is what we got out of the whole week of preliminaries.

I don't know if you saw the monster dyno thread I started but I had to end the fun because the Dyno guys were taking a beating. I thought that people would tell me I was full of it and question me and that would have been fun but I didn't figure on them calling the Dyno junk and all. Oh well live and learn. You know, with some headers on your truck I think you could have put a pretty good whoopin on us all and the next one is far enough off that we could manage to install a set by then. Let me know and I'll pitch in and help or at least show up and take pictures and hand you more beer anyway, lol.
