They used to be High Point Nissan, but the owner decided to sell and the buyer was Van York automotive group, a company that owns basically every other dealership in town. It was a dark day for all Nissan owners. The service guys do the best they can, but when managment got brought in from other Vann York stores the quality of the service writers and the staff went down hill. I wil not even get started on what and why, but I live 5 min from the place and now drive 30 min to Greensboro to go to Crown Nissan on Wendover Ave.
Crown is top notch, excellant customer service and very friendly. I would send my own mother there. Avoide VY Nissan at all costes.

Good to know, but I haven't had as much of a problem with Van York as I have had with Modern Nissan in Winston. I'm in the middle of all three, so if I need to, I can give Crown a try. I'm in Kernersville at I-40 and 66, so just about equal distance to all three.

Oh yeah, Modern is horid. If you are in K'Vegas then you really should go to Simmons Nissan in Mount Airy if you ever need to put it in the shop. They are in the top 5% if not highger in all dealerships in customer satisfaction.

Mt Airy has it going on with customer service. My dad bought a Cummins Dodge from Patterson and could not be happier with their service. It's a 98 model and last year they reflashed his ecu and it gave him another 65hp and 100tq. With all his other goodies, that put him just over 480hp and close to 780tq by the numbers, but he's never dyno'd. He basicly just uses it to pull his fifth wheel. Anyway, thanks for the Simmons tip.

I was going to contact the High Point Nissan to see if they want to come down to our Meet in June given that they did all the installs on Galen's rig. So far, they're the only dealership that didn't freak out about installing aftermarket items...
Any thoughts?
