If you are 1/4 mile drag racing and NOT uprev tuned and have trap speeds 91mph+ with the stock height tires. DO NOT run a SHORT drag radial/street radial you will hit the SPEED LIMITER before you reach the finish line. I'm not tuned and running 255-50-16 (26" tall) M/T DR's and was hitting the speed limiter at 1200ft. I either have to get taller SR's/DR's or get tuned to remove/adjust up the speed limiter before i go back to the track. Before with the DR's i was trapping 90.5mph, with the 07 exhaust they went up to 91.5mph and the S/L kicked in so early i put my stock tires back on.

yeah I used some 29-30inch GY tires on the 17offorads for a couple of times before Uprev and did ok on the 2.94 axle.

So, am I going to hit the S/L with a 28-1/2" DR with BT? I left my S/L at 6K. How far up do you set the S/L?

S/L = Speed limter and that 110mph stock....LOL

That is correct Randy, S/L 110 mph, Rev Limiter 6000 rpm.

Before getting tuned on 28 inch DR's I was hitting the speed limiter right at the line with Big Tow. With 26 inch dr's...it would have been much worse!!!

Overall...your fine with 28's.
