Hi, I was wondering if anybody has the fabtech 6" basic lift on there truck. If so how does the truck ride? Also, did the truck stay pretty level and how much exactly did it lift the front and the back? Did your gas mileage change at all?? I want to put this lift on and put 17x9 aftermarket wheels with 285/70r17(which ahve been ordered)........will this look funny since there only 33" tires. I see that most people with a 6" lift run 35's but with minor rubbing. I just want to stay with 33's if it doesn't look weird............what do you guys think?????

I was able to fit 315/7017s (34.4ish) with a 3 inch lift. You just have to bend back the pinch weld behind the fender plastic cover. I don't recall any one haveing problems at all with a 6inch lift with 35s and rubbing.
IMO I think it would look funny with 33s and a 6inch lift. Go with a level kit or small, 3 inch lift and try the 33s

I don't know what your goal is here, but if it's function that you're going for you want some clearance around the tires for flex. It's bad enough crawling over a rock or through a ditch without having to fight your own wheel well also. If it's just looks, stuff it with 35's.
Actually, it is for function. I do alot of offroading and I dont want my tires to rub. That was the case of my last truck and trust me it sucked. I'm just wondering what it will look like with that high of a lift and those tires. I was thinking of going 12.5" wide instead of 11.5 and that might not look so bad. Tonight I'm putting on my level kit so I will see how that looks and how much clearance I have with the aftermarket rims and tires. I think I may just wait for the rancho 4" kit to come out.

I actually think it would look fine. If you go with 17" wheels with 33x12.5 I think they would fit perfectly. I almost think the 35's look alittle big on some of the trucks I've seen.
Yeah, im gonna wait till i put my new rims and tires on with the level kit and then maybe i can picture it 4" higher and what it might look like. I have a couple of buddies with 6" lifts and running 33's on there trucks but there fenders wells aren't as big and there trucks didn't come as high as the TITANS do. I think im gonna wait till i have about 10k-15k miles on the truck also if i decide to do the lift..........hopefully before hunting season!!!!!
