hey guys, I just got my new 08 green/tan titan, replacing my old 04 gray/gray titan. I love the truck, expecially the color. However, I have a problem with the tan interior. It is always getting dirty. Sometimes when I get in and out of the car my shoe sometimes hits the door sill plastic or the plastic on the door. All this plastic is tan in color and it is a sort of textured plastic. So all the dirt gets into these little grooves. It is super hard to get dirt, grime, grease, etc.. off this plastic. Ive tried simple green, goof off, towels, tooth brushes. The goof off and the tooth brush work best but I cant get it all off. Was thinking of plastic coating it with some clear plastic wrap...Any ideas?

Wow. I have the tan interior on my titan to and I am a landscape contractor and get dirt and all types of crap on the platic of my door and bottom of my seat all the time. I am super anal with the interior of my truck to. I swear by simple green. I just simple greened the bottom of my door and sills this evening and the mud wiped right off. Are the panels different texture from the 04's? I haven't gotten aggitated about it enough to look into protective coatings. My best advice would be to wipe if off within a day or two. The longer you leave it on, the greater the chance of staining.

so far, I've had to clean it every other day. so I'm not letting it sit. I don't think there is a difference in the plastic material used. but the tan shows every little scuff.

you have an 04 Titan with tan interior? I didn't think they made tan in 04....

The interior is two tone. Graphite and sand.

That simple green is excellent. We use it at work (machine shop) and it will clean anything on everything. I use it for my sand colored interior and it works great.
