I have what looks like little rust spots on the "chrome" factory grill. I have tried a couple different things to get them out but nothing worked. Suggestions?

I get this too! on my mirrors and door handles. mothers chrome polish will take it off for me. I live close to a paper mill so we get sulfer rain here. and it stains them. After the chrome polish put a good coat of wax over it to protect it. My spots come back after a few months and I have to redo the process.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to give Mothers Chrome Polish a try.

I used to used Amway Chrome cleaner to get rid of that minor rust on chrome but, many chrome cleaner/polishes will do the same.

thats not Rust!! In order for Chrome to adhere to plastic, you have to use an adhesion material for Copper to bond to the plastic. then they dip the parts in the nickel plate. The rusty stuff you see is the chrome coming off the Copper plating. So its copper that you see. Don't rub too much or you won't have any more chrome left. My mirrors and grill are doing the same thing. I wax it all the time, and still the chrome comes off. some companies chrome comes off more, some flakes off, at least ours does not do this. I wish we could get factory reproduction pieces with metal!!

It sounds like the "chrome" on my grille is pretty crappy then. Mine Titan is just over a year old and the spots are noticeable.

Mine doesn't look rusty, just looks like it is tarnishing, as if the chrome is fading.

Just another example of how NISSAN cheapened the Titan to make it come in at lower price.

Regardless of the product; quality costs more money.
