: Wet Okole seat covers installed
LouieIV 06-23-2005, 02:35 PM I installed my new Wet Okole seat covers the other day.The concept is easy but it actually turned out to be quite a bit of work to get front and rear installed and looking good.
These are the first seat covers that I've had on any of my vehicles so I have no first hand reference. I was actually expecting a slightly better fit. They do fit pretty well but they just aren't quite a stock perfect fit. Like I said no experience with other seat covers so better fit may just be a pipe dream. These are supposed to be the best out there so ...???
Here's a couple of pics lighting wasn't wasn't great so the colors aren't quite right in person they look really good with the Red Alert truck.
Overall I'm really happy with them, so far.

Voodoo 06-23-2005, 02:41 PM I have had mine on for a couple months and they still look like day 1, I highly recommend.
Yours look great btw :D
baseballfanz 06-23-2005, 03:34 PM Look good, just a question, what are the material? Is it comfortable for say hot weather state such as Texas?
PeaceKeepr 06-23-2005, 04:07 PM shoot me a link to where you got those...thats awesome looking
Voodoo 06-23-2005, 04:07 PM made of neoprene(wetsuit material) and I have no problems with the heat in Louisiana
Redright9 06-23-2005, 04:12 PM I agree, they look really good..Put a link up if you know it so we can check them out.!

holy h377 @ the pricing omg....
littlebuddha19 06-23-2005, 05:23 PM Yeah too expensive for me.
LouieIV 06-23-2005, 06:20 PM These are about as expensive as they get without reupholstering. What made my mind up is that I plan to keep this truck for 10yrs and these guys will replace any panel for $15 forever.
I almost bought CoverKings http://www.coverking.com/
because thru Costco they aren't much more than the Nissan covers. But if I have to buy another set in 3-5 yrs because they are worn, ripped, faded etc... then I wouldn't really be saving much money.
By the way I ordered mine thru http://www.autoanything.com same price as direct but I got free shipping.
Thanks for the compliments any other questions let me know.

Yours look great btw :D
Are you on TT? I saw yours and mine don't look as good around the bottom. Maybe we can compare, I may not have mine installed right.
Here's mine.
The first one is where they look bad. Both sides look like that.
LouieIV 06-23-2005, 07:40 PM Hey Baja,
I'm on TT some but do most of my posting over here. I took another pic of mine up close. I tucked the edges under as much as I could, I also tuckred the material under the power seat adjuster I used a bicycle tire lever to do some of this tucking :-). I also did this at the headrests. Keep in mind I spent a lot of time installing these, probably about 4 hrs. for front and back.

You know some have said their doing it for the count. :nervous:
When you delete the double posts, does it subtract their count? :ouch:
PrayforSnow247 06-24-2005, 09:12 AM Do you think your red is too "red" to match Red Brawn?? I noticed the wine color they have and was wondering if that would match better....
LouieIV 06-24-2005, 10:55 AM Prayforsnow,
I don't think the red that I have would go with Red Brawn maybe like you said the wine might go better.
Wet Okole will send you samples just go to thier website and fill out a form. If you can't get a good color you can always go for blk/gry.

:)
Voodoo 06-24-2005, 11:10 AM you need to tuck the seat cover behind the power seat levers...I used a flat head screw driver :?
PrayforSnow247 06-24-2005, 11:59 AM thannks.
PrayforSnow247 06-24-2005, 12:15 PM Btw, baja, is that a Titan logo on your seat cover?? i didnt see that being offered

LouieIV 06-24-2005, 12:56 PM Hey Voodoo,
Did you do the rear seats too? If so what did you think of the cupholder/armrest pocket area. I wasn't able to get mine to look very good when the armrest is down. It is very loose and sloppy looking.
Prayforsnow247,
I think you can get any logo you want on the seat backs for a little mo money.

Voodoo 06-24-2005, 03:32 PM no I did not do the rear seats....yet
since the price of the okole's was so high(imo), I wanted to check out the product first by only ordering the fronts
PrayforSnow247 06-25-2005, 09:17 AM Hmmm...i did see the "order custom logo" option. Also i ordered some color swatches to see what matches brawn the best so i guess when i decide on color ill inquire about custom logos
baja220 06-25-2005, 09:57 AM Btw, baja, is that a Titan logo on your seat cover?? i didnt see that being offered
I called and asked if they had it and they emailed it to me so I could see it.
SSUPERTITAN 07-19-2005, 10:19 PM MAN THAT RED SEAT COVER REALLY SET IT OFF!!
Peluche 07-19-2005, 10:32 PM Those seat covers look really good...
Hopeful 07-19-2005, 10:54 PM SO LouieIV...now that you've had them on a while do you still like them? How is the fit holding up after many entry/exits from the seats?
I have a Red Alert too and think they look WAY COOL on yours, might add them to my "future Mod" list.
