Ok put 81 miles on the new tune. Temperature tonight was Great for some sub 6 runs... I would have hit it tonight on my old tune... need you guys to help me find why the truck slowed with the new tune... The weather was alot better than my 6.02 run on my old tune.

EDIT, the one on bottom is my old tune. the top 3 are with the new tune.

ok bud, stupid question but did you switch to a tuned map.. I uploaded one a while back and *****ed about my slower truck only to find out that I never switched out of stock tune... KADUHHHHHHH

wish i was running 6.2 stock map lol.... i will leave that one up to you... i really have to figure it out fast, or i am switching back to my old tune. Going to the track saturday for my first ever 1/4th mile run.

I have not idea, your still 2+ sec. faster than me. lol

I think you may have a little one wheel peel syndrome.. even before uprev, i would spin my right tire through second on the track... it sucked... the truck still accelerated though and it was hard to notice, till i watched film of it and saw smoke trailing off the tire.

crap look at those intake temps... tonight was perfect..... ughhhhh!

Your generic tune was pretty darn good, just needed to pull the timing back a couple degrees. You can experiment with that yourself, hook up Cipher and see if you have any stock advance, if you have the +two, remove it and make a few runs. If you don't have the +2, you can manually retard the timing by 2. I'm just thinking out loud. I haven't looked at your new logs yet.

Well try this next time your out take 2 * out of the timing through the target timing in cypher also don't stall the truck practice launching the truck with no stall all my times are much faster without a stall but its a fine art to get the truck to launch right and get very little wheel spin. Truck looks to still be pulling a little timing try and get your coolant temps down this will help prevent det. The logs are leaner so if you can find out how your truck runs when its lean and cooler temps you should be much faster. Also make sure you are logging all the correct parameters the log looks like its missing something.

looks like maybe your truck might like a richer AFR. But also note that truck and my truck and papas truck will not run there best times daily.

RB, he ran a 12.0 AFR with the generic tune (his best time) earlier in the week before the reflash. He has an FFV, and I'm starting to think FFV's need to run a low 12 AFR for best performance for some reason. My FFV is running a 12.2 AFR even when I'm pulling in only 235 max GM/S with my old muffler swap. Just thinking out loud again...lol.

Yeah i know, but the conditions last night said they where going to improve ;) 10+ degree difference in intake temp, the run was made less than a mile from my house so the truck was not heat soaked... humidity was high, but it was a great night for a run.

So what do you think i should have jared look at?

even on my 6.2 run i was wot 2+ mph's sooner than my 6.02 run....

on a side note look at your BFS ( Base Fuel Schedule) and see what your peek numbers are you could be going off the fuel schedule neting lower times.

what do i compare the BFS too? Peaked at 20.4

Ask jared what you max out on the BFS for the timing and fuel targets. If you way above you target bfs you will have to have the BFS scaled out im way above my old values so they had to scale out the BFS.
