My best time was today and its in my sig. And that was a mini cooperS. I've never once seen my "SLIP" light come on and it finally decides to show itself on my last run with my best R/T. Thems the breaks. I'm at 5120lbs +/- 10lbs. If I can figure out how to remove and re-install the step rails and tow hitch they will be in my garage my next outing. Until then I'll just play with the air pressure. I've got a 14.7x-14.99 truck, just got to work on my launching. If you were on the fence between traction bars and traction springs, I say go for the hellwig traction springs if your on a budget. They work great!

I was nearly peer pressured into slapping on kings drag radials but it would not have worked since the 08's have larger brakes.

i thought the 07-08's are pretty much the same since nissan has upgraded the whole platform.... what size brakes are the 08's vs the 07's????

Beats me. I suppose we should have tried one wheel just for grins. I'm thinking once I play with the tire pressure in the stock wheels and tires I'll get a 2.1x and once I have that figured out I'll leave the step bars and tow hitch in the garage with my spare and tailgate. And I can still shave off a 1/10 at no cost since I could stand to lose 100lbs.

These are all the same parts I kept from my 06 I traded in. For some reason my 06 just couldn't get traction to save its lfe. Its was one wheel peel and 2.4x 60' everytime.

my 07 has 1 wheel peel with 2* timing (THANKS NASCARJODY!), tb bypass mod, air silencer removed, stock air box mod with 4 inch ram air mod, fram air hog, secondary cats removed, flowmaster 70 series di/so dumped before the rear axle, and i havent ran it at the track. on the streets ive beat everything but a harlet s/c and a tbss....

Don't know :D Started to cool off before my last run. I think you are right about the fastest non header, catback titan... man i was grinning from ear to ear after that run. I knew 14.3 was within grasp, but didn't think i would hit 14.2 :D FEELS GREAT!!!!

Kingmade, I don't know what exhaust you're running now, but the JBA will perform much better than any muffler swap. My FFV wants to fly with the JBA compared to the Magnaflow muffler swap I ran at the track. I can't wait for late April to see what improvement it has.

Mychael, you can knock off another .1-.2 with the timing advance, and that will easily get you into the 14's. I'm going to shoot for a 14.7x, I doubt my trap speed will increase much. I figure drop another 1/10th on the 60', drop some more weight (step rails, tow hitch, and myself) and fold in my mirrors! Then hopefully Uprev or Edge performance will have something available for the 08s if not then I suppose my only choice is the VK-Pro.

Nice runs King! Thhat mini cooper looks so small next to the titan. Looked like Micheals truck was going to eat it for lunch lol. Those srt10's are really slugs off the line arnt they. Look the same in every video, slow and then huge motor just keeps pushing and pushing with great top end speed.

I know i got him to the 330, he had me by the 1/8th... A couple more mods and i hope to have one of the fastest titans around.

He wasn't stock, he had custom tune put on it and something else... can't remember though.

The cooperS ran a nice 14.910 @ 95.63. I won since I made it thru the traps first. The 60' times told the story. I had a R/T of .190 and a 60' 2.248, his R/T .525 and 60' 2.533. My margin of win was .1906. I think my truck was finally coming around. My trap speed was increasing with each run despite the winds increasing. Next time I may just take some folding chairs and a small grill and have a few beers and hot dogs while they let the pros and jr dragsters get their runs in.

it's the 07's man.. look at dbolmiss also... almost same scenario... I love my 06 but damn...... them 07' are quick. That VVT responds and adjusts very well to mods

It's not so simple, cut and dried as people might think. I've always said that until you get two vehicles side by side for dyno or time slip comparisons it's tough to tell exactly what would happen.
For a long time after looking at slips and dyno runs from other places I thought I might have a dog on my hands and was getting ready to change out a very good exhaust based on other peoples numbers. After I won the OT dyno I started to take a lot closer look at what I was trying to compare and it is just not fair to compare trucks in different locations and conditions.
Some guys like Kingmade are putting down very good numbers indeed and they have quick trucks for certain but you would do better to compare who they beat and by how much to get a better Idea of how you compare to them.
Let's say for example that a guy raced a Tundra and posted up a 14.0 slip to a bone stock Tundra DC's 14.2. If Tundras at your track run between 14.9 and 14.50, that same guy running the 14.0 might very well run a 14.30 to a 14.70 at your track.
This in no way is meant to take away from Kingmade and others quick times but since you and I run at the same track I wanted you to understand a bit about comparisons. Your best comparisons are against the guys you run with and they are the only ones you have to beat anyway so it just makes good sense to look at those comparisons a lot more closely.
I love a good slip race or dyno comparison as much as the next guy but when push comes to shove, I want a good old fashioned side by side to tell me the whole story. If you want to compare your truck to other Titans, OTV is a good opportunity to Dyno compare your truck, same Dyno, same day, against 20 odd trucks and that will give you a pretty good idea of how you stack up against other Titans with a variety of mods.
Once again Kingmade, great runs and love the video as always, way to represent man, you make us all proud to be Titan owners.

Thanks everyone, I knew she was quick and believe me I wanted a 14.2 run, and i have been saying 14.2 for a while, but in the back of my head i was thinking no way.... After I saw that i could do a 14.4 I let the truck cool down looking to try for a 14.3... I got a great burn out on the right side of the track and knew she was going to hook up great. When i went into 4th well before it was shifting in my earlier runs, I knew i had a good time. Got my slip... did a double take when i saw the 14.2, then grinned ear to ear the 60 mile trip back home :D :D :D

Yeah the Viper owner is pretty cool. Will be hooking up with him and getting to the track as much as possible. Just moved to the area and it was good to get out and meet some new people.

Dude, mine are on 17 inch rims. Unless you are an 08, you will have no problem getting some 17's with some drag radials on there.
