DF6_Titan cannot make it for the 22nd so what does everyone think of having it this Saturday the 15th??? I think we're still planning on meeting out at Harrah Park regardless of if we get the Pavillion reserved or not.

We'll never forget that. I think it's going to take us a few more meets to get better organization. This year's holidays have to be manually re-added to Microsoft Outlook 2003 so I didn't realize that Easter was sneaking up on us already. :D

It wasn't as bad for the 2nd meet so I have a feeling the permission thing will eventually fade away as we have more meets. :D

Good News - my son is ranked 13th in the state for powerlifting (in his weight class) and has qualified for state!

Bad News - he has a state tournament on Saturday.

I'm not sure when or if we'll get there. He thinks it's uncool for parents to attend the powerlifting meets. So, my wife and I may skip the powerlifting meet. Personally, I thinks it's cause his girlfriend is going and he wants to get a work out after the meet.

I sent PM's to Baja220 and everyone over on TT who I know are here in Ok. I only got one response from bluovalguy that he'll have to wait until he gets back from Iraq. So far, it looks like we'll have a pretty good turnout. I guess next time, we'll just need to check Jake's schedule first then the rest of us can work around it. :D

No problem at all, I just think that you're the only one who has a work schedule that needs to be worked around and it's easy to avoid the first weekend of the month for the weekend warriors. We'll get it all down to a tee before too long. :D

I think the "bring your own food idea" is the best. There are plenty of grills and several fast food establishments if you don't feel like grilling. Not to mention, there's bound to be late arrivals.

I'm not sure what Harrah's policy on drinking at the park is. But, there was quite a bit of beer last time. No one got out of hand. And if you were'nt offended by the presence of alcohol, it was a child friendly environment. I brought three of my kids to the meet. I will say this, It wouldn't hurt to bring a drinking cup. There's no sense advertising it.

Just keep in mind the typical "Small Town Policy" that beer in hand = being watched by a Deputy to make sure that you don't get behind the wheel driving while tipsy.

Yea, I'd think so. Things have been hectic for me lately, been replacing things that lightening blew out at the house and trying to get some roof repairs lined up. I just finished the final repairs on wifey's Murano last night, now if I can just get her to stop running into things for awhile. :D I'm also wanting to start digging into building an HHO system to see if we can really get a few more MPG's out of one or not. There's a guy in Broken Arrow installing them and I think he might charge around $1k which is way too rich for me unless we know for fact that it can help aLOT.
