I really want to get a little lift on my baby, and from reading here I know the PRG kit is the way to go. My question is this:
Will I be able to install ths kit myself? I have good mechanical ability, but my actual automotive experience is pretty basic. Oil changes, alternator replace, brake pads/shoes. . . that's about the difficulty I can handle. Can anyone give me an idea as to how difficult this install is? I have an 05 SE CC 4x2 and would like the front and rear lifted.
Thanks for the advice.

The info is right here on ClubTitan. All you have to do is look:

Yes, I've read that. (Repeatedly, actually.) I was just kind of hoping to hear from someone who has actually done the install. We all know that sometimes something is easier said than done, right?

I have installed the front kit twice (once on my Titan and once on a friend's) and the rear twice (both on mine). I did have help, but that was mostly for the commeraderie. It can be done by one person, even without real knowledge of the suspension. The info provided on this forum, plus the help of PRG is outstanding.

Here is the page from my front 2.5" and rear 1.5" kits: http://www.tscomputerservices.com/titan/PRGkit.html

Installtion summary of those kits here: http://www.tscomputerservices.com/titan/PRG_Kits/PRGinstall/installsummary.html

The second time I worked on the rear blocks was when we installed my new PRG leaf packs.( http://www.tscomputerservices.com/titan/PRGround2.html) The leaf packs give about 1.5" of lift and improve the ride quality, whereas the rear blocks give lift, but no change in ride quality. However, I could not have installed the leaf packs by myself. Well, I could, but it would have taken me a lot longer and would have been a lot more frustrating.

Again, the front & rear blocks are amazingly simple. Once you get the first side done, you will be amazed how simple it was and the second side will fly!

Thank you. That's exactly the kind of input I was looking for. I have looked at your pics, and intend to bookmark them for reference for when my kit comes in. With the instructions from the kit and all the other info and experiences here, my confidence is much improved.

I did a search but didn't find an answer. Maybe I wasn't using the right phrasing. But, does anyone else's front end sound louder after the PRG lift when you hit a bump? Is it the new bump stop maybe? Or does it just need to "settle"?

Mine doesn't sound louder...??.....I don't notice any difference in sound but I sure do notice a difference in overall suspension travel. I can hit railroad tracks or large pot holes without even noticing them.

I saw something that might be related to this somewhere. It had to do with the front sway bar. I might have seen it on TitanTalk.com . . . don't remember right now. You might want to call Greg, I'm sure he'll help you.

I agree with JT,
With the front spacers on, I can fly down a dirt road (50mph with lots of pot holes) and not notice anything. Before, you could feel and hear the front end. It has to be the extra travel and new bump stop that made the difference. The install is easy!

No new noise here. What size kit did you get on your 4x4? Also check your sway bar as others just mentioned to make sure it is oriented properly.
