Been too lazy to report my results. I beat my previous best of 9.51 twice.

I had my uprev tune, with no spare and I took out my subs. I had 3/4th tanks of gas.

I did improve .1, but I'd still like to see a better E.T. I was expecting more of a 9.3-9.2 range with the tune.

Previous best was
R/T - .041, 60' - 2.094, E.T. - 9.516 @ 71.91 (pre-tuned)

New Times:
R/T - .203, 60' 2.076, E.T. - 9.463 @ 72.33

R/T - .109, 60' 2.096, E.T 9.494 @ 72.30

My trap speeds did increase a little, so I did gain power. It's not a full tenth, but it is pretty nice raising the bar that much and not seeing the usual 9.5 to 9.6. I also am pretty excited I pulled two 2.0XX 60'.

You need headers man....get some JBA shorties on there and that 1/8 mile will rock!!! Look at my 1/8 mile trap speeds...I'm running over 77 mph.

Also remember your truck is heavier then mine. I always run below 1/4 tank...no spare....no tailgate....and nothing loose in the truck. So I bet I'm running 2-400 lbs lighter then you.

The only weight reduction I ever do is take out my subs and spare. I leave my tailgate on aswell. Inside the truck I had a video camera, laptop, laptop accessories, and school books rolling inside the truck. I do notice I trap lower than most people who run my times.

I really want to get headers, but doing shorties will be very hard. I will have to buy CATs, and then have to find someone who can weld them on for me which will be very pricey.

He's got an open diff and no drag radials though Rossi. Being a 4x4 i think you will not see as big of an improvment as us 2wd guys since a big part of the gain is the WOT fix. You will pick up some time but not thefull 3/4 second in the 1/4 mile. Keep testing though, and make sure ur truck is running perfect everytime before you do headers. I know it seems like an extra step but i know you had or still have tunning issues and you need to figure that out first. Headers are another pain to deal with tunning wise... trust me

What was weird, everytime I got off the dyno, my A/F would be ok for 3 runs, then go to crap. Everytime I got home, it was a 16:1. I was flashed with the stock ROM, and it was still a 16:1. I flashed the truck myself, and it was fine. Ever since then, I have had no problem A/F wise or anything else. It learns the target A/F Ratio pretty quick.

I have another tune from Jared however. In the first tune, I am not getting WOT until 16 MPH. So, I have a new ETC table. Hopefully this can get me consistent 9.4s.

Yeah, I think. I asked Rbs, but he said I was getting it at 0. Then I emailed Jared and he said I wasn't. I was getting it at 16.2. lol...

Why is it that everyone traps higher than me? Is it because I weigh a lot more?

weight has a good deal to do with it. And it depends on where your power band is at. Maybe yours is down low and your choking up top due to no headers??? You also have a 4X4...so you have 4 CATS instead of 2 if I remember corectly.

The log you sent Jared...youhave to make sure you mashed the pedal out of the gate.....or it can appear that your not getting WOT from a dig.

I did. I did 3 logs back to back and they were all consistent. Yeah, uptop I am failing miserably, lol.

He was trapping I think at 71 MPH. Obvious gain in power, but he just couldn't hook. I know he has more in that truck, he just needs to learn how to drive it a bit better. It gets up and goes for a lifted truck.

Technically I did, but I don't consider it a win. We will eventually line up from a dig, but until then... I will definately record it. lol
