I am going to try to start a new idea here. I belong to a gun forum that the members randomly post a Karma. By Karma, I mean they have something laying around the house that they no longer have use for. In the gun forum it will be things like mugs with mfg logo, holsters, misc. parts, pretty much anything. Anybody that is interested in what the member has put up for Karma posts that he would like to be included in the Karma. The Karma is usually up for about a week, then a name is drawn by the Karma host from all that wanted to be included in the drawing. In our case, it could be anything related to the Titan, or working on the Titan. For instance you have a bottle of wax that you don't want to use as it is not your brand, you get a great deal on oil filters and want to give one away in a Karma, a plastic Nissan mug and you use stainless steel mugs, pretty much anything! The Karma host also pays shipping to the winner of the item. It is pretty neat, if a lot of people take their turn in hosting a Karma.

I will start the first Karma for our site. I will draw the winning name on Monday, November 22. All requests to be included in the drawing must be posted before Monday. The Karma will be for one of our Clubtitan decals. Post your request to be included in this Karma drawing, in this thread.

After being very disappointed in the amount of guys that got into the 1st ever, ClubTitan Karma I made the drawing. All 5 names were put into a hat, the Mrs drew the name, M4ck has won! I do have a question about the Karma thing. We can give them away at our leisure can't we? I mean that even if someone is doing one, I don't have to wait to do mine. Can we have several going on at the same time?

The reason I ask is that we may want a Karma section set up if this takes off. I have a few things I plan on giving away and if I can run them while other Karmas are going on, I will put one up tonite.

I also wanted to put in my 2 cents regarding the shipping of the Karma item. If it is a small item then thats ok for the host to cover shipping, but for something like what JetTech is wanting to give away, then he is not only spending a lot for the item, but also a lot to ship it.

I think we should allow the host to determine if they will cover the shipping or not. Just an idea and it makes it a little better for the host so they arn't out ALL the money. Let me know if I am out of line on this, but I think that is more fair to the host.

If this is acceptable, then the host should note that the shipping is NOT covered on the item. Any shipping charged should be ACTUAL COST ONLY!!!

It's just the volant box, cover and attach hardware. There is no intake tube with this item.

I see no reason more then 1 Karma can't be run at the same time. Its just that it would allow for the Karma thing to be more of an ongoing thing, rather then all at once.

All the Karmas I have ever been involved in, had host provide shipping. I guess it could be changed, just a lot more complicated that way.

Most Karmas are not so big that shipping would be more then a couple dollars. Host a Karma and pay shipping, then win a Karma, it all comes out in the wash. For larger Karma items where shipping would get into more then just a few dollars, it could be noted that winner to pay shipping cost.
