Houston members where did you get your front windows tinted? and How much???.. And what shops to stay away from.

I had mine done at CJ Sounds off of Clay Rd. close to Fry Rd. I had my front done at 20% and had 20% put over my factory tint in the back and they charged me $150.00.

Got the whole landyacht done for like $150 over here by my office.

Now how did I know the 1st two replies would be from two people I've allready asked...:duh: :)

Kool Kars dis a great job on mine, and the price was very reasonable. It's in between Grand Parkway and Mason off I-10.

I've had two cars done there...and I know they do the tinting for most all the local car dealerships in Katy.

They even have a live webcam on their shop at all times to watch what they're working on.

my titan was already tinted when i bought it.. not too sure where they took it?

Years ago ('96?) I had a place on Fondren, just north of West Airport and south of Westheimer do my Accord. I sold the Accord last year but after 10 years the tint (and alarm) were still holding up great! No bubbles in the tint.

I got my old tint taken off and new tint put on on the front 2 windows at Tomball Tinters for $75.
Dont go there.
They got soap/water everywhere in my truck and it started bubbling within 3 months.
Stay away from Tomball Tinters.

I left my number(s) for them to call so I could schedule a time, that was two weeks ago - guess he's making too much $$$ to call me....

I've used Executive Motorsports on Gessner to tint mine and I got a great deal The whole truck 20% for 115.00. Have had two company trucks wifes car and previous truck done there and no problems with any. Although I read somewhere on here or the other site that someone had a bad experience. I'm just telling you my experiences though.

i had my previous car done there,,, they did not even clean the windows b4 they laid the tint... bubble and dirty... all over... could of been a new guy installing it... any way they took off the tint and relaid it.. free of charge...
