Are there any sources for the factory xm tuner and antenna. I don't care for the roadie add on's but not looking to replace the entire HU yet.

I've had XM on my other car through my Pioneer for about a year now. Once you get hooked, its hard to go back. But I wasn't going to pay $400 to the dealer for it. I thought that was a bit outrageous.

the oem receiver can only be found at the dealership unless somebody wants to get rid of theres on ebay or something. I know a4bry4 did his, and got a discount at our local dealership, so it was still a little pricey but with 20% off it could have been worse. He did a thread in this section about it, and put what he needed and did not need.

Here are the part numbers that you will need.
FYI, if you do not have the RF system, you will not need the mounting bracket.
You will need 999U9-NV003 (receiver), 999U9-VR000 (antenna) and 68139-7S000 (bracket).
When you are ready to buy the parts, PM Brian (Jerseyparts) and he will hook you up with everything you need.

I just took a look at http://www.abcnissanwholesale.com/
They offer the XM receiver for $303...good price, my dealer just quoted me $384, and they wouldn't come down at all.

Does anyone know if I can use a different antenna other that the factory one?

Thanks

I am not sure about the antenna plug in on the factory unit. I used this antenna which I had mounted on the windshield like the '05 Frontiers and Xterras. I think it is better than the old style factory antenna.
