Hello all. I have been reading through alot of the XM posts on this forum but I still had some questions. I have a 2004 SE with the Rockford Fosgate Premium stereo. I do not have a SAT button on my radio. Can I still install the factory XM receiver (Part Number 999U9-NV003) or do I need to have the SAT button? I also already have a Skyfi 2 and I wanted to know if I could use that antennae with the Nissan XM reciever instead of purchasing that funky windshield antennae. I just got my Titan 3 days ago (it was used but with only 8000 miles on it!) and I am having a blast with it so far! These forums have been a great help! Thanks!

I can tell you the receiver will only work with the SAT button, so no buttom means using your roady. Some have come up with realy nice ways to install them, so find one you like and askt he person how they did it, if not already there.

I was told that the satellite wire was only there if the head unit has the SAT button.
Here is my windshield mount antenna. I think that it looks better than the old rear-window mount that was big enough to communicate with NASA.

After alot of research according to this thread (http://www.titantalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19638) as long as the NBUS connector is there you can connect the OEM XM receiver. If you look at the pics he has Sirius up and running and no SAT button. On the radios wihtout the SAT button you use the Radio button to switch from FM to AM to SAT. The SAT option only shows up if you have the XM receiver installed. You can also use the smaller antennas if you get a splitter. Terk makes one for sale at crutchfield here (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-xlTNjxyAdG2/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=251750&id=morephotos&pi=1&i=209XMSP&display=L#Tab/) . I checked my radio out and it does in fact have the NBUS connector to hook up the XM receiver. Anyway, just an FYI for anyone looking to do what I am trying to do. Thanks for the help!
