Do yourself a favor and stay away from NTN.
I've had my A/C and alignment done on my 1st trip out there in my 08 and I got it back with over 25miles added to the odometer and the wheel was off center. They said it had been road tested so I'm not sure how they missed the steering wheel being cocked to the right and my A/C still didn't work.

Well round two for the A/C and its still not right. I've been complaining about the crappy mileage eversince I towed a pair of jetskis and got 8mpg. They said they couldn' look into it since I had an aftermarket intake and exhaust.

My A/C still doesn't work correctly. If I have it on dialed in to the max its blowing about a third of its capacity. If I cranked my 06 to the max I had to raise my voice to speak to my passengers. My truck takes forever to cool off and I have it in the garage and limo tint. I took over a week to get in contact with the Nissan Consumer Affairs rep and after another call to get my truck into NTN for a 3rd repair attempt they tell me the earliest they can get me in is next Wednesday.

*Note that all of these issues have taken place under the new ownership. Plenty of service advisors, techs, salespeople, and even the sales manager all abandoned ship.* Its now Avery Johnson's NTN, hope he's better at selling vehicles than winning in the playoffs.

Got my truck back and a/c was working great. Got back home and went to get my truck washed and after it was done the a/c was back out. Now it blows just fine but only pushes hot air.....
Called another dealer and they said that the tech line is aware of the 08's issue but has yet to offer a fix. There were replacing the control heads but it wasn't correcting the problems. Lot of good it does me here in Dallas in the summer.

Doesn't matter when most are 18yr old lincoln tech grads. That's why I'm taking it to another dealer where nearly all the service advisors own titans and the techs have plenty of time under their belt.

Dude, that sucks man. I will be staying away from North Texas Nissan for sure. Lemme know if I can help in any way.

Luckily my 08 a/c has been holding up so far. And btw, when I tow my 4000lb boat to the lake and back, I get 11.5 mpg. 8 pulling jet ski's = :(

Just be thankful I was able to help get you your money back. I wouldn't have been able to now under the new ownership. Its going to either Trophy or Urban now. I'll keep updating this thread until its right.

Where is Urban Nissan located? Let me know if you have a better experience with either of those two. My dealership in greenville wont order rear seals for my truck until they "inspect the truck to verify the problem," then it will be another week from then before they can replace them. I need to get my truck in the shop soon. I also have another leak that appears to be from a tranny cooler line.

Urban is in Duncanville, Trophy is in Mesquite

Well I went to run errands and the a/c was dead again. Went straight to the dealer and had the service advisor see it for himself and kept the truck running and they had the techs check it out. This time they swapped in a new "Variable Blower Control Module" since it was mentioned here to be the fix and it still didn't help. They are going to have someone from Nissan check it out now.

Well, A/C is still out. I was delivering a part to Ravelo and got stuck in a thunderstorm. Luckily, I've prepared myself with a towel to clean the fog off the windshield since I can't use the a/c and defrost to keep it clear. Called the service dept and was told there is nothing they can do to fix it. I asked them if they were telling me that they expect me to drive an 08 with no a/c. My response was to speak with the service foreman. I called the sales manager at my dealership and told him what was going on and just got off the phone with the shop foreman. Looks like more of the same. Lets get it in and throw some more parts at it. Anyone want to drop a dime on my rep at nissan consumer affairs. Maybe a little mass dialing will encourage her to return my phone calls and voicemails.

you the man mikey I don't know what I would do without you. I would not let them tell me that it can't be fixed thats just lazy and you need to tell them to give you a different truck or replace the whole ac system because thats just crazy to drive around in a daily driver with no AC and you baby in the truck.... no I would kick some *** man. If you want me to go up to don davis or urban or trophy with you to help get this resolved just say the word bro.

Supposedly, there is now a new control head out and I'll be getting one tomorrow at 10am. They said it takes around 45 mins to install. I'll have the initial results up around noon then see how it hold up over the next few weeks.

New control head is on. So far it works, but its only been a half hour trip home. Well geive it a couple of weeks and see where it goes.

Its still bad and I have to call up there to get my last invoice for the control head replacement. I know they are reluctant to do this because they know that I have a strong case for repurchase. I'm not sure if Nissan or the individual dealer takes this hit. But I'm leaning towards the latter. I asked to have the entire a/c system replaced but no dice. I can't proceed with the lemon law claim until I get the last invoice faxed over and send a certified letter to Nissan to give them one last repair attempt. Since 5 isn't good enough for them.

Urban Nissan did the last 2 repairs. At least I was given a rental at NTN, no questions asked.

Hmmmm. I thought the AC was supposed to fluctuate in speed. On high mine starts out at a lower speed and then after a minute or two steps up the speed to blow hard. AC is ice cube cold as well.

That would be fine by me. Mine on max would probably be about as high in air volume as yours on medium. It can be going strong then blows like crazy after about half an hour on the road. If you turn it down or off then you risk it not coming back on blowing cold air. It sucks so we spend a lot of time in the wife's car. I think she's ready to pick up a 09 stang at a buddies dealership. White w/black leather, glass roof!, auto V6.

Hey Mychael, sorry to hear about your A/C problems and poor experience w/ the dealer. I have had bad luck @ courtesy in the past- very condescending and rude, but had a Great experience @ Trophy Nissan a few years back - very courteous -- they fixed a SERIOUS problem with a past vehicle and kept me updated with phone calls all the way untill it was resolved.
I agree it is unacceptable for them to tell you they cant fix it - they should give you a free loaner vehicle untill they do figure out how to fix your truck. Good luck on the lemon proceedings; I hope they get you taken care of in a timely manner.

I'm convinced that nissan consumer affairs is there to stall owners and frustrate them enough to just go away. They replaced the head unit with a new one and my a/c works. That is all I care about so I'm pleased.
