What do I need to hook up my brake controller? I have located the plug under the dash. Is there more to it then mounting the controller and connecting it with the adapter to the factory plug? Do I need relays or anything else? BTW my plug is marked elec brake conn.
If you got the Big Tow option you won't need to do anything else, the BT came with all necessary relays installed. If you added the hitch you will have to add the relays.
Be sure to connect the controller properly. DO NOT connect the same color wires togather, assuming that is correct. The Nissan pigtail has the functions identified on each wire, and your controller will have the wires identified in the instructions that came with it. You probably won't use one wire on the pigtail, the "illumination" wire.

Thanks. I did add the hitch. What relays do I need?
There are two relays you need to add. Look at the attached drawing for the location. Buy the relays from your dealer. You will also need the trailer wiring socket and harness to add to the hitch.

Shouldn't the relays come together with the OEM hitch receiver???
just a question...

I believe they do come with the big tow package. I didn't opt for the BT package because I didn't like the big mirrors.
If you don't plan to tow any thing that needs 12 volts from your Armada battery, such as a travel trailer, then you won't need Tow Relay 2. It's purpose is to supply a 12 volt source to pin 4 of the trailer socket. You will need Tow Relay 1 since it supplies the power for the trailer running lights.
