I've been reading the posts on cleaning up the install on your xm units and Ipods. Feeling ballsy so I'm going to give it a shot. I already have a roady thats hardwired for power and I'm just running a cable to the aux input on the front of the dash. Can I hardwire the cable directly to the aux input without the Pie adapter? And can I have (2) devices hardwired to the aux input? I want to have my ipod and xm hardwired to the same aux input?

Not 100% sure but I think you could as long as the two device is not operating at the same time.

You would be wise to put a selector switch in line with the AUX circuit. Some electronic devices don't take kindly to having current/voltage incoming on their output lines.

This could be as simple as an "On-OFF-ON" toggle switch. One position is MP3, one is XM and in the off you could use the in panel jack for for a third option.

I've been looking at PART#AAI-NIS from Pacific Accessory Corp. with it you can hook up two inputs. Trying to determine if is compatiable with the Titans, not listed as such yet. its supposed to work if the radio is sat. radio ready which I think the stock radio is. If any knows otherwise let me know.

It worked. I stripped to plugs, connected them, and then spliced them into the aux wire behind the dash. 1 plug for the roady, one for the Ipod, and still have the output on the front of dash. All three work. I'll only have one item powered at a time, but what would happen if say I left my roady on and hooked up the Ipod? Will one overide the other? thanks

They told me it would work on the Armada as the QX56 is the same radio...so you could take that to mean it will work in the Titan too.

It will probably fry one of them.
I tried putting 2 stereos at the same time, and one fried.
That, or it will work just fine.
