Its 20 degrees out today, but the Carlisle Events web site already has registration information posted for the All Truck-Nationals, August 7 - 9. Just thinking about it is thawing me out. You can check it out at www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/truck-nationals. Last year Sleezymatt got the ball rolling, and I think 54warrior came up with a club banner for the tent. Maybe this year we'll get enough Titans registered to get the tent for free. Last year, we had about 25 Titans -- how about 50 as a target this year? We registered under "Club Titan" last year. Same this year? How about it?

I can't commit to it yet, but it has been on my mind this past week as I've been planning the vacation days. It was a blast to go last year. I have never had such a relaxing Titan event as that one was. Lots, lots, lots of room for all of us to park in our own "Titanland" and hang out. Getting in was not a hassle at all, many of us were apprehensive, as we heard of how crowded it can be. It was a breeze! It's a great place for a tailgate party, now that we know what it is like. Bring your grill! This is probably the best Titan meet in the PA region! Yeah, I'm thinking hard about this one! :)

I just noticed the the Carlisle Truck Nationals is on the same weekend as the Deerassic Classic in Ohio.
My wife got me tickets to the Classic for Christmas so I won't be attending the C.T.N. this year.
If anyone wants free food and beer for a two days.

The carlisle meet was def. a good time. Plenty of room and tons of other trucks to check out and some good vendors. I plan on attending this year and more trucks than last would be fantastic!

as of right now i know of about 10 other nissan's going form infamousnissan.com the really low guys and about 5 or 6 frontiers from CF

The Admin got back to me today via e-mail. We are permitted to indicate your club affiliation as Club Titan when registering for the event. This should allow us to have a free club tent if we get the requisite number of registrations. So, hopefully, Sledgie can get the ball rolling again and 54 Warrior will bring the banner. I will relay the registration info to Nissan Sport magazine who will have the registration info in the magazine. Lets get at least 50 Titans.

so where do i register? do i register under the NON-COMPETITION Fun Field? i want to go since i am only 2 hours away. i would like to register soon so please let me know what we are going to register under for the clubtitan registration

Go to the Carlisle Events site for the All Truck Nationals, www.carlisleevents.com/ce/events/truck-nationals. Click on "registering online." This will take you to a page to register. Click on the Fun Field registration. This will take you to the fun field form. You want the Non-Competition Fun Field. Be sure to type in "Club Titan" as the club. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Since Sledgie isn't coming, would someone like to volunteer to be the contact with Carlisle Events to arrange for the hopefully free tent? I can't get there until Saturday so we need someone getting there early Friday morning to make sure the tent is set up. Also, hopefully 54Warrior will bring his banner.

Just registered today for the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals, Aug. 7, 8 & 9. The online registration form has Club Titan listed on the menu of truck clubs. Only seven weeks away. Lets try for 50 Titans this year. Are you in?

Wow, this event is a month away thats crazy. Is there any way we can get a list of guys that have registered already so we can see where the numbers are at? The thread at this point last year seemed to be bigger and have more interest we need to get things drummed up so we have a great turn out like last year!

Only 5 preregistered?!? At the Chrysler Nationals, only 6 Prowlers were pre-registered and 15 showed up -- they parked 15 cars in 6 parking spaces! Come on, if you're going, please pre-register now. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I will not be attending this year. Other commitments prevail. But, have a great time, and I am penciling in 2010 for the whole family to be there! Carlisle is a great event! :)

Who is coming Friday? If someone is coming Friday, then that would be the person to whom to send the banner.

I hate to be another debbie downer, but my schedule is not going to allow me to make it at least with my truck. I am possibly only going to be able to make it up saturday late afternoon. So I hope to still at least get to the show but its just to much to get there with my truck and have it clean.

I went with a dirty truck last year. Just ask deadriver, he'll vouch for it! LOL. There may be a touchless carwash on the way. By all means, make the meet if you can. :)

Don't worry about cleaning your truck. As you drive in, on the left, at the first concrete building are hoses and buckets for us to clean our trucks. Plus, if you get dirty, they have showers in that building. Lets just bring our trucks, clean or dirty. When do we ever all get the opportunity to get together in a central location like this?

I expect to be rolling in on Saturday a.m. about 9:30, so I will meet you at the show field. By the way, if anyone is taking the back way in through Carlisle Springs, the road is closed for bridge construction; there is a detour that adds about 1/2 hour to your drive, so the best way in is to take the Carlisle exit off I-81, not Mechanicsburg (through Carlisle Springs.)

Just got back from Carlisle. just wanted to let everyone know that we don't have a designated area since we didn't get 25. It's first come first serve, gates open at 6 I'm going to try to get up their early and save some spots. once you sign in and go thru the gate they will direct you first stop sign, turn left then right and should see me, if the spots arent taken by the time I get their. Everyone have safe travels, and I'll see you there.

Yes, a bigger crowd would be great. We need 25 pre-registered under Club Titan to get our reserved spot again. The Nissan Sport is Issue 13 -- no more seasonal references. It has an orange 240Z on the cover with "Ultimate Barn Find" in white over the 240Z.
