I'm finally putting in that sub box that I built. I ordered the amp installation kit, line out converter, and all the cables. I just took out the front passenger seat (i have a CC) and removed the factory door sill to uncover that big group of wires. The only problem is....I don't know what wire is for what!!! I need to tap into the factory speaker wire. If anyone has a color chart (ex. Green=left rear, etc...) I desperately need it. I figured someone up here would know before I attempted to go ask the dealer...YUCK! Most grateful...

here's a link to the wiring diagram. the speaker wires are the only tightly twisted pair in that bundle. driver's side is <solid blue, black/yellow> and passenger side is <orange/blue, red/blue>

Why an amp installation kit? Are you putting an amp too? Depending on the wattage, it would be better to run the speaker wires from the dash straight to the amp, and then an RCA cable back to your in-dash radio.
The sub box, you can just use one of the speaker input, or 2.

Thanks. I couldn't get my program to ZOOM in to see the pos/neg but I see it now. Thank you for the help! As far as running RCA's to the head unit, I didn't know that it had RCA outlets on the back of it. I have a line out converter that I'm using right now. Splicing into the factory speakers, hooking up the adapter, then RCA outs come out of the other end...straight to the amp. Oh well, I'm about to go finish the job. I'll post a new thread with pics.
