Looks good. I'm gonna make some amp racks for each of mine under both seats. I think it will clean up the wires a bit. I just got done making my box for 2 JL 10W3V2 subs in my kingcab SE.

Nice. 2 10's should really supplement the sound nicely. I only have 1 10, and it works well...but I can see why you would want 2. Enjoy and post pictures!!!

Looks good. Did you actually fasten the amp to anything under the seat? I just set mine under because the amp is so large, I have to lift it and turn it sideways to make gain, bass boost or crossover adjustments. Fastening it down would complicate matters, and I haven't seen yet any indications that the amp has moved even though it's just sitting there.

I used 3M Velcro and fastened it like that. I put 1/2 on the AMP, and the other side on the floor, then pressed them together. I don't have to move mine, so this works well. This isn't a ROCK solid install, but it's good enough for me. I didn't want to go screwing into the truck floor. I imagine heavy duty double sided tape may do the same thing. Got pics of yours?

Looks good NK, do you have pics of your sub box? I am starting my box build this weekend. I made a mock up cardboard template, and the best i'm gonna get as far as driver size is 8". If I use 10s, the box will stick out in front of the seats, and I don't want that. It's already tight enough in the back of the kc. I'm making 2 boxes out of 3/4" MDF (internal volume .3863 cu.ft.) Then building an elevated center section and linking the whole assembly together over the hump, then laminate in black or grey formica with leather texture. The center part will house the amp. I'll have 1 1/2" of clearance to the floor, so a downfiring config. should work really well. I'm gonna be pushing 2 JL Audio 8W3v2 subs with the 250/1 mono block class D amp. It is the perfect marriage (so I'm told by the JL techs). Haven't bought the equipment yet, and I don't want used, so I'll try and save a few bucks buying on-line. Pics will be forth-coming but a few weeks out yet. Wish they had that stealth box available. I wonder if they'll stuff 10s in that one too? Happy thumping!

Do you have pics of that box? I'm curious how you can fit those 10s in there. Won't the box protrude? Maybe your design is better than what I came up with. There is a recommended volume of .625 cu.ft. sealed enclosure. Do tell...

There should be pics in my profile in the gallery. There was no math or science I used to make the box. I just measured how much space I was going to take up and made the box accordingly. If you can't get them to come up, let me know and I'll email you what I have.

Well, NKTITAN, you asked if I had pics of my amp and I realized that I didn't. I just took some. These are with the seat in place, so you can see that with the size of this amp it's a pretty tight fit. I may give the velcro thing a try.

Nice. Looks like Infinity Reference. I almost bought one...but I had this Orion Cobalt amp that I have had for 6 years. If this one fails, I'll get an Infinity or Kicker or something... You may not need velcro...that thing is large!

Yes it is large, and it is an Infinity Reference 7541a. It's a four channel amp, and it's running 2 pairs of Kenwood Components on the front two channels (in parallel) and a pair of RF 10" Punch subs on the rear channels. Sounds great, but I'm having occasional light dimming trouble. Nothing major, but I think I'm about to upgrade the stock battery to a Yellow Top.
