Been there man. I used to run a CounterStrike clan and had about an 8 hour a day addiction. It is very easy to get caught up in the play and lose track of time. Those 15 minute maps go by really quick. Oh well don't have that kind of time anymore.

I do the same thing with my Xbox. I guess you sould call it "online" gameing. I have the Xbox live and play with people all over the world. I LOVE IT!!! :D :D :D

I play a lot of BF 1942 online, usually every night. I play with a couple good buddies of mine so it's a good way for us to "hang out" without having to actually drive to see each other.

I'm installing Half Life 2 right now and my little bro is over we are gonna frag some fools. Comes with counter strike source. really good.

I miss the day's of playing for hours online (Rainbow 6 series) but all my buddies that I played with moved on. Lately I've been playing Halo online using Xbconnect.

I think I am going to have to check out Half Life 2, i've heard enough good about it now that I think I won't mind dropping the 50 bucks on it. I've been playing the new Medal of Honer:PA with all the options turned on and the graphics cranked so I think my machine should be able to handle Half Life 2.

WOW sucks personally. I tried it and personally it was too easy. More of a kiddo game compared to Star Wars or Final Fantasy. I just bought FFXI and love it. Been playing SWG.

I am also in a clan for Americas Army. So that is my other online game time.

Funny you mention that. I was just talking to my little brother about starting another clan maybe. Not really serious stuff just guys on the site who like to play and want to have a place to hang out. I don't want to have to pay for the cost of a server though. I did that for a long time using www.ilangamer.com and was running me like $80.00 a month I won't be doing that again. I have used www.recongamer.com before and they were really nice they were way cheaper too. You can get a private server for next to nothing from them I think. I will have to look into this. Still don't know if I'm really up for it though. Maybe as long as its not for league play and just for fun we might do it. What do you think maybe for a tag. -=]CT[=- LOL

Man I've been playing Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Source for the last few days. Quite a few hours and I'm amazed. I love the new game engine its very realistic. My favorite thing by far is the Gravity Gun. You can pick things up with it and shoot them at the bad guys or move things around. For instance there is a zombie coming at you you pick up a saw blade and fire it at them and it cuts them slap in half. You can kill them with boxes, tables, chairs all sorts of stuff. If you like to play First Person Shooters then get this game and try it. Its like getting 2 games for the price of one since it comes with CS Source. If you like Counter Strike then you will love this version using the Half Life 2 engine. Hope to see some of you at the end of my barrell. I got my new Dell last night, set everything up, turned it on and it came to the normal "Do you agree with the licensing agreements?" If so hit any key. I hit the space bar and the damn computer shuts down!!!! I called Dell and they are now sending an entire new system. Talk about a tease!!!! :evil: :x :oops:

AWWW man thats terrible. I played HL2 last night for over 6 hours. Just couldn't stop. It literally had me in goose bumps and on the edge of my seat. You can ask my wife I was actually jumping in my seat when I would get startled. Can't wait to get your take on the game. I will hopefully beat the game tonight if I get to play again for a while. So far I've played about 10 hours I guess. Lots of puzzles to do to keep going in the game. You get to ride water cycles and dune buggy's. A lot of fun.

I finished Half life 2 yesterday I just couldnt stop playing. Im thinking of getting Doom 3 next.

I finally started the game last night. I was dumbfounded by the graphics and realism. By far the best game I have ever played. I already had several scenes that made me jump out of my seat. I ended up stopping at the part where you get the machine gun and run into the zombies. It should be a nice weekend of HL2!!!! :D

You will enjoy. It took me about 12 hours total to finish the game. Good luck and have fun. By the way did you fire up Counter Strike Source that installed with it. It makes Counter Strike fun all over again.

LOL can I say I told ya so. Keep playing it only gets better. There is a town you go through and there are some bad dudes that come out quick and by the handfulls not just one here and there. Enjoy and save your ammo for when you really need it.

Oh and guys I have been playig a good bit of Need For Speed Underground 2. If you like to race you will love this game. So much more to this game than the first. Give it a try its good for hours and hours of fun.

M4ck - I finished HL 2 a couple days ago. Talk about a wicked game! After I finished I went back to the end of the game where you have the super charged gravity gun and started flopping the bodies around making a huge mess! Took some nice screen shots. I know, it sounds morbid but it was fun as hell due to the realism.
Have you tried DOOM 3?

Yeh I especially like grabbing them by the foot and twirling them around in the air then shoot them into a group of bad guys and wipe them all out. LOL.
Yeh I have tried Doom3 very intense dark scary and quite demanding of the computer. You had better have a beefy PC to play this game. It is totally crashing my PC every 15 minutes or so. Right now my game has been Need For Speed Underground 2. I love it soo much I play every day before I go to bed. Great way to unwind. Lots of new cars. I am soupin up my Infiniti G35 right now.

Well I have a new PC so it should be okay. I got the ATI Radeon X800 video card and upgraded the memory to dual 1 GB. Should be okay. I didn't have any problems with HL2 and the graphics on that game were awesome.

How does the graphics on Doom 3 compare to HL2?
