just bought 05 XE crew -- didn't know until the deal was done there was no key FOB ??? any way to retrofit or add alarm to get keyless?? pretty stupid of NISSAN if you ask me -- in 25 years of buying new vehicles this is 1st without keyless (assumed power locks included keyless)

Any suggestions?

I was under the impression that the XE Crew came with the FOB. The dealer told so, too.

Thanks for your response -- I will check that site and some local resources. I now know the preferred package (MSRP adder $750) gets you keyless, 6 in dash CD, overhead console and security system.

that makes me very mad i wanted the ketless entry.i have the prefered pacage but no key fob.i want one. i have the 6 disk theover head concel.but no key fob. now im pissed.

If your XE have power windows and door lock just need to get the fob and program it. Ebay have some key fob for as low as $25.

oh i see mine has manual locks and windows,this sucks.

I got the KC XE and my truck does not have power windows, power door locks or power mirrors. In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten the power package-power door locks and windows. Anyway, I installed a keyless entry system in my truck. I also had to install the door lock actuators. Installation of these acutators is a little more involved due to the fact that we have cable actuated door locks. Check out A1 electric for their systems. They are complete systems and reasonably priced. All in all it took me about half the day for the install. The website is: http://www.a1electric.com/index.htm. One of these days I plan on installing power windows as well. If you have any questions on the install let me know.

yup this reason I am driving blizzard (white) instead of my favorit color the Smoke Smoke did not have prefered pkg and for $700 and on with all you get it is ridiculous that nissan made truck like that. I think 2005 XE King Cab models had the power option and CC had it standard because of the power rear window.
But I am making the White work for me. besides they all ride/drive the same no matter what color. :rofl: besides gives me more leeway with wife for external mods. :tears: Pity factor
