Looks great!
If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost?

I've got about $800 in the whole thing. When I first ordered the box, I had paid to have it here in 2 days so I could have it installed while I was off from work. Well JL didn't ship the box out on the right day so it never got here. When we called JL about it, we were told it would be here next day which would have been on a Saturday. Hats off to JL, they put a rep on a plane with the box and flew it here overnight.

I have the Titan XE king cab. Does JL have a box for this model? Im searching high and low for a box that will fit, and give me the bass im looking for.

Awhile back JL Audio was asking for a KC to built a box for. I'm sure they got something in the work and should be avaiable soon if not already.

Heres a box I built for my kingcab titan. I still need to carpet it and its made to fit 2 JL 10W3V2 subs perfectly.

crypt,

thats exactly what i was thinking of doing, getting a box for half the rear seat, then cutting the under seat storage for the other half....

The stealth box comes with W0's though, right?? I might want to go with something more like a W3, perhaps i'll stop by an audio shop and see what they can recommend and the cost.

I eventually want to dump all the speakers and get an aftermarket amp and speakers, so i'll possibly wait for when i'm ready to do that.

I'd dump the stock headunit too, but since the navi and all the computer electronics integrate into and look nice, wont be doing that. Might take my alpine headunit from my old car and the 12 disk changer, and make a little system to use while tailgating.

look at JL's web site for the dealer near you. I found a shop just down the street from me.
I ordered the stealth box thursday for the KC, $699 was the price. I bargened a deal to lower the price to $599 and pay cash. Ill post pictures when I get it installed tuesday.

They don't make a stealthbox for the kingcab yet. Did you mean crew cab?

My box is built & sealed. Just primed the underside and will be laminating soon. My amp came today, but i'm still waiting on the thumpers, wiring kit, terminal cups etc. It is a little like the box above but with the KC, 10" JLs are a stretch. I didn't want the box to stick out in front, so I'll be down-firing 2 8W3v2s. I also made sure with my box that I have a full 1 1/2" of excursion room, and also made channels out both sides of each linked box. so sound can eminate out all 4 corners. The JL 250/1 will mount in the middle with air flow front and back. I'm also gonna elevate it off the deck with nylon spacers to get as much cooling as possible. I'll take some pics tomorrow of the box progress. I'm also using Dave Navone's NV-7 to change the signal off the stock DVC sub to low-level RCA and clean it up. Does anyone know if the green/white wire from the HU to the stock amp (marked "amp on signal") in the wiring diagram has +12v? I'm thinking of tapping that for remote turn-on. There's also a violet wire coming from the HU to ignition. This might be a better spot, but I have to buzz them both anyway. Just hate taking that dash apart. already lost one slide clip for cluster C and won't be able to find it unless I rip the whole center console out. Gettin' close to the endzone though.

What is the volume on that box, and is it common or separate chambers? I was looking at mine last week and wondering what I could do with some fiberglass back there. I already have 2 10W3V2 subs, a 300/2, a 500/1, and some Boston RC57 components from my f-150. I want to look into putting a box under each front seat first, or perhaps replacing the center consule with a custom unit.

Its like 0.55-6.0 ft3 per side and I have the volumes separated. It fits good and doesn't stick out at all in front. I want to mount it permenantly once I get all my speakers, amps, subs, HU so I may put some lugs out through the floorboard with a nut on to hold it down. I am carpeting today and getting subs on Saturday so I'll post some pics of it all finished next week. It would be cool to do a fiberglass one. Check out a thred on Titantalk about a guy who had a fiberglassed one done recently for 2 10s. It looks so clean its amazing. But its upfiring...
