so i've been getting some pulsation in my steering wheel when braking, and my brakes just don't stop me the way they used to. i know very little about cars or maintenance but i figure this means i need new rotors right? if so, what is a good brand to buy which is reasonably priced and does the job better than stock rotors? will i need new calipers and pads or can i keep the stock ones? please forgive my ignorance, i'm no more knowledgeable about cars than the average woman.

This is what i upgraded my truck to before it was totalled

i also got steel brake lines, i think u can pick the rotors and pads for like $500.
i thought it was a fair price for far better braking, the feel was better and stopping distance was better

I have the pulsing from the front rotors also. I was looking at Brake Performance for their performance rotors and ceramic pads. Very good pricing, free shipping, and the rotors have a lifetime warranty against warping.I think the slotted, drilled rotors are $138 a pr. and the pads are $58 for both front wheels
Any one used this company?
I am in the market for the new rotors and pads as well. This will be the first replacement outside the warranty. I will not use stock rotors again. This will be the 4th set with only 53k miles. I was going to try the EBC sport 3gd rotors (dimpled/slotted) with the greenstuff 7000 pads. Anyone have any luck with these? The rotors were $210 and the pads were $105 through summit racing.
Thanks

Been real happy with my DBA rotors.
Are the rotors from performance brakes ebc's?
