Here are the radio mods I've done:
Stereo place spliced an additional cig lighter adapter into the radio power wire for my roady.
I spliced an additional cord into the aux input for the roady.

My promblem is that all of a sudden I'm getting a noticable static like interference with the XM and when I'm playing a CD. Turn the xm off and the cd static goes away. I think it's a grounding issue with the additional cig lighter. What do you all think

Sounds like a grounding problem.
Also double check your slicing and make sure there is no "bleeding". Problems I find in the past sound systems that I have installed. Don't ground two different systems too close or on the same ground post. It can create problems.
