Hi abb!!! I installed a 15" monitor in my titan and can tell you it was no picnic. For one, I'm not experienced with any kind of video/sound systems, so most of it was very new to me. I ended up making a custom mount for the monitor and made sure it would be VERY secure to the roof. Having the monitor fall off the roof was one thing I didn't want to take any chances of, no matter what the road conditions were. I probably over-engineered my mount but I do know it will never come off... :D
I don't have any pictures of the custom mount that I made but if I can help in any way I will surely give it a try.... :D
Check out the system I installed by clicking on the pixagogo link in my signature. You'll see some of the install pics there. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!!

With my 15 in. a MDF board was attached to the roof beam, than my tv was mounted to that board (sorry no pictures of that mount).

I would say a positive, negative and ignition wires. Depending on your model maybe all the source for that is found inside the roof liner. If you have the rear overhead console it's up there for sure. You would need to run a set of RCA cable from DVD player to monitor. My DVD player have extra input so no need to run any extra RCA for game console, it just plug into the DVD player. For sounds you will either use an FM modulator or tap directly into the factory harness.
