Heya people just wanted to post this for anyone who was thiking about getting Xm in there truck I just got me a Delphi Xm2go Unit here is a link for you to check it out http://www.xmradio.com/myfi/index.jsp
this thing works great in my truck I just plug it in to my Aux. Port and BAM I have Xm hehehaha ya baby Ijust run the antenna out my back window run the wire under my seat and bring it up to the unit if you would like I can take some pics of it tomorrow and post them for anyone who wishes so it sellls for $299.00 and comes with everything you need to use it in your home your truck or car and its also a walkman its pretty cool and works great just post or PM me if you have any questions about it thanks and Peace Out.....

I did the same thing , but ran the wire up the pasenger door trim, putting it on the roof, used 3M double sided tape.(the sae stuff they use to out the emblems and decals on the truck) My friend is an installer and he said after trial and error this was the best place for it. Ther rear window can devlop leaks, and any silicone used just deteriorates in the weather . how did you mount it to the dash?

Ill take some pics of where i mounted it and post them here leter on can you do the same on how you ran the wire. I would like to see that thanks. What did you use the tape for the antenna is held on by a magnet on mine. Peace Out....

If someone wants a cheaper XM route, I just put a "Roady2" in my dad's car.

I've seen them for like $40. The antenna is super small and the whole unit works great. If you want cheap XM this is highly recommded.

Only downside might be that it comes with "FM transmitter" and "cassette" methods to transmit the signal. The cassette method is supposed to give higher quality. My dad's install was the cassette method, so I can't comment on the signal quality of the FM transmitter method. Still, for $50 or less it's hard to go wrong just to try it.
