I have decided to give my truck a 6" lift in 2 weeks. After doing research, I might change my mind. First, I couldn't decide which kit (ProComp, Fabtech, CST, etc). Second, I read many people have problem with the kit (ProComp, Fabtech, CST, etc). Third, I don't want to replace my stock wheels now. I want to replace new tires and rims when my stock worn out. If I lift now, do the stock tires rub against any part of the truck.

With the $ for just the lift kit and labor, I can get nice rims and tire for my stock height without worring problem with the lift kit.

I want the lift just for look. I don't do lots of offroading.

Sorry, I am a first time truck owner and automotive retarted.

Than just do a 2" lift or something. A 6" lift w/ factory wheels and tires don't look right to me. JMO

yea,, I was thinking the same thing before I got my 3 inch lift from Nitrousenterprises.com. I put on the lift and still had the money for the rims and tires. Which by the way are "35s" (315-70 17) It's high enough that a lift is noticed but not high enough that it is a full lift and a fraction of the cost.

Just letting you know there are a lot of options

ensclark, the picture on your signature is before or after the lift?

35" he meant the tire size not rim size.

Hey ensclark is that your Titan on their website? You purchased the 3" kit, what issues if any have you had?

The pic is with the lift, but I have the stock size tires onit. I put the 35 inch tires on after that pic. I do have other pic with them on. Yea the truck on the web site is mine. I have been using their kit for a while now with no problems at all. It realy does make the truck look better. It has a little more "bounce" to it with the extra rubber on the 17 inch rims but it's still as smooth as stock. I do see a little lower MPG as should be expected with a larger tire and it's a little, and I mean a little slower on the jump but not enough to tell. I can still spin them from a stop.

LDO, I'm sure up for some wings. I'm thinking laborday weekend. Maybe that Friday if all goes well I will have an exam that day and be ready for the weekend.

The pics are of the truck with the 315 70 17. It's just about a 35, and the 3 inch suspension lift from Nitrousenterprises.com. I have never liked body lifts that much.

You're gonna think I'm avoiding you, but I'm driving up to the In-laws outside of Winchester, VA that weekend. I'll hit you up when we get back and set something up. I need a fix of those "Killers".
