Couple of questions. First, has anyone modified the system to output DVD on the font NAV screen? I have seen it done but would like more info on it. Second, is there any way to make the factory DVD player play home-burned DVD's (DVD+R OR DVD-R)??

www.avelectronic.com works great fairly easy to install

DVD-R are the most likely to be able to paly in the factory system.
Hey BigShowJoe welcome to the site.
I am just over here in Greer. You need to head up to the meet in Charlotte with us on the 9/10.
We have a pretty good bunch that will be there.

the dvd-r should play, but if you have trouble, and live on burned movies like me, you could always replace the DVD player with something that does. They make tons of very small dvd players for cars, so you could find something reasonably that will fit there, and not cost to much.

Did you replace a stock DVD player or start from scratch? I would love to find one that would be a direct replacement but add the DVD+R and MP3 features.

I have not done this in the titan as i found the protable was nicer to have. I can use it where ever I can find a 12v or wall plug to charge the battery.
But here is a site that has just about everything car entertainment. They have in-dash players, but they also have tons of small players to fit undr seats and what not.

How come they're so cheap? Are those prices installments? Cause I paid $1200 for my in-dash dvd player, and $64.00 is way too cheap

These are just players. $64 is about right for those brands. Your indash includes a monitor and other features...I hope...because anything over $200 even for the best brand dvd player only is a rip off.
