Got my PRG Kit on this morning and I love it!!!! Did the 2.5" on the front only. If the boat doesn't make the rear end squat, I'll leave it like this. Here's a couple of pics!!

the prg kit looks very nice baja! i have a quick question to ask how did you ever manage to lossen the lower bolt out of the shock? did it just take a lot of muscle? i have tried air tools and a lot of wd 40 but it hasn't managed to loosen at all. thanks in advance for any replies, and again your truck looks realy nice. hopefully mine will look the same.

When I did mine last weekend, I just hit that with my cordless impact wrench. It came right off and I probably could have done it with hand tools. Sounds like you may have a seized bolt. :(

I didn't put it on. I was too chicken to tackle this one. I took it to the guy that put on my exhaust. The only thing I did was jump on him for not following instructions to the letter. LOL He didn't have problems with that bolt tho.

Did she say jump him?

Anyway it looks really good. Now to go find a mech.

Baja, that looks awesome! I'm realy looking around on that PRG also, I want to get one so bad, but I'm trying to finish my sub box for my rear seat first, maybe 2 moths from now I'll get one.
Can I ask you a truthful opinion? Did you see a big difference when you got that lift? I want to get one that won't be too tall, but enough to see a big difference.

One opinion on your truck if you don't mind; your bushwacker fenders should be painted to color match your truck. I think it would look nicer if you painted them.

Hey Baja, any chance of getting a pic with the light coming at the truck? With that side of the truck being in shade and the wheel well area being dark, it's hard for me to really see the effect of the kit. If you can...when you get a chance....or a free minute.....

Thanks.

Very cool, just be sure to get the front end aligned if your mech didn't do it.

I need to take my time and read the heading, for a moment I though she say she was PRGnant. :beating: Look nice.

Which kit did you get, how much $$$$?? Most importantly, how does she ride now?

There is a big, yet not huge difference. I need the nerf bars now to get in, I almost fell out when I got home!!!LOL It looks way different from the front. I'll have to find a couple of pics that I took of the grill and the Armarda spoiler thingy and I'll get the same shots now so you can see the difference.

I wanted to paint the wackers, but with the 250 to paint em, I got a Volant. I like em black, but I think I'd like em better painted, but you'd haveta put some of that 3M stuff on the inside to protect em or they'd be chipped. IMO. Also, I have a cabinet in my garage that I get too close to ever so often. One time with em painted and it would look like sh!t.

Sure will, it'll be tomorrow sometime. With the black wackers, it's hard to see in those pics.

Baja, that looks awsome. Thats on my mod list also in a couple months. Do you have to get your headlights aimed since the front end was raised?

Mick, I got the PRG 2.5" for 2WD front lift. I haven't decided if I need the rear block yet. I like the way it looks now, but have a boat that may make it squat a little. It was 199.00 shipped, 40.00 to install. I haven't driven it much, but seems to be unchanged.

Nice fender flares but, I agree, i think the truck would look EVEN better if they were painted to match. Maybe I'll get a set for mine. My 2000 Frontier CC had factory fender flares painted to match, I really liked em!

Do some of the 4X2 Titans come from the factory with the front lifted?? I see people doing it to their trucks but, my front end seems higher than alot of other Titans and I haven't done anything to mine yet.

What is the Desert Runner in your sig??? You look level.

The Desert Runner is an off-road package without 4 wheel-drive. With the Frontiers, the Desert Runner is built on the 4X4 Frontier Chassis and looks to be a 4X4 but, doesn't have the 4X4 running gear.

Nice job Baja! It looks HOTTTer now! I can't wait for mine. Only a week or 2 more before I can afford it. As far as the Bushwackers...I like yours black. Sure, it may "clean" it up some and it will SURELY change the look, but on your truck, it's one of the "flavas" that I like the most! Good job!

Now you gotta get Two-tier Nerf bars, Shortie!!! :roflmao:

Congradulations, you are now "in the Clouds" with the rest of us! :fan3:
(Don't paint your Flares, one scratch and you'll not be happy.)

Yup, it does sit a little higher than the 4x2's w/o Offroad Pkg, thats why I only put 1.5" on the front of mine and 1" on the rear. To keep some of the "Rake" while increasing the front end's travel.
(...you did know, you only have 3/4" until you hit your bump-stops?)

One of these days, :punch: Straight to the moon!!!!

They would already be scratched just gettin in my tiny garage. I would be so pissed had I painted em.

When we installed Titan4x4Aggie's PRG kit, we had a big problem getting the driver's side lower shock bolt undone. Since we had 4 of us there working on it, we all took turns showing our muscle. I ended up breaking it loose using a 4-way lug wrench that had a 19mm end. ($7 folding version from Wal-Mart) So with Aggie holding the bolt still with a racthet, I was able to gain more torque on the nut with the 4-way by being able to push and pull at the same time.
