: Stereo Pictures
KYFHO 12-15-2004, 10:05 AM I was wondering if anyone had installed an aftermarket stereo system (head unit, speakers, sub etc...) If so, could you please post pictures? I am trying to get some ideas together before I install any kind of aftermarket system. I am especially interested in pictures of sub enclosures under the back seat. Thanks
SMOKEDYA2 12-16-2004, 05:49 PM what kind of cab do you have? I can get you some pics of my boxs under the back seats of my king cab. they fit perfecty without sticking out where your feet are. if you want pics let me know
KYFHO 12-17-2004, 02:31 PM I have the crew cab, so the layout is probably a little different. From the looks of it, you could probably fit two 10's nicely under the seat.
SMOKEDYA2 12-17-2004, 11:43 PM heres a couple pics of my boxes, I'm sure you could fit some 12's under the seat of the crew cab very nicely.
CHARLIE 12-19-2004, 12:25 PM does anyone know how the underseat rf sub is wired.
and is it possible to splice in there to add another sub????
need to know, it seems like a better idea than dropping to line level off the rear speakers
any help would be great!!
SmokedTitan 01-13-2005, 12:22 AM How do the 10's sound? I'm working on an underseat box project now, and I'm debating on going with 10's or 12's.
SMOKEDYA2 01-14-2005, 06:14 PM How do the 10's sound? I'm working on an underseat box project now, and I'm debating on going with 10's or 12's.
i like 10's because they dont move as much air as 12's therefore they sound cleaner from less air movement, thats just my opinion. i have a digital 1100 watt amp so the 10's are plenty loud if thats what you want to know
hurricanefan1 01-15-2005, 01:42 PM Here is a picture of my stereo, and currently working on a box with 4 8" Audiobahns.
KYFHO 01-17-2005, 11:27 AM Man that looks nice! What model head unit is that?
hurricanefan1 01-17-2005, 01:18 PM That is the Pioneer AVIC-N1. It has DVD, MP3, and the built in navigation system with touch screen, along with bunch of other neat "tricks".
firecracker 01-17-2005, 02:20 PM Sweet, looks Great!
SMOKEDYA2 01-17-2005, 05:53 PM that head unit is sh*t :!: does it fold down into the head unit? mind if i ask what that set you back, im sure its worth every penny :D
hurricanefan1 01-17-2005, 08:41 PM Yes, it folds down, and part of the face plate comes off for theft purposes, and to keep anybody doing any maintenance or whatever on the truck from messing with it. SHHHH don't let it out, but I got it for $1499 8O, plus Pioneer sends me Navigation CD's whenever they update the software for free. If you look it up on Crutchfield, it will tell you everything it does. The only thing it lacks that I would like to see better is the EQ. Me being a stereo person, I like to be able to shape my music. Overall, it is well worth every penny, just like the Titan, it may be missing a few things, but it makes it up for it in all the other areas.
1BadTitan 01-20-2005, 07:49 PM heres mine.
TeamMaximus 01-21-2005, 01:53 AM heres mine.
Nice 1BadTitan, I like the double-din display. What make/model is it?
KYFHO 01-21-2005, 04:28 AM You guys have some really nice setups!
Sorryociffer 01-27-2005, 12:16 PM Yes, it folds down, and part of the face plate comes off for theft purposes, and to keep anybody doing any maintenance or whatever on the truck from messing with it. Now if one had the navigation sytem as well would that block it ot it's buttons etc?
S.O.
Sorryociffer 01-27-2005, 12:18 PM heres mine.
OMG..... 8O
Got bigger pics?
S.O.
hurricanefan1 01-28-2005, 07:54 AM S.O. I didn't understand your question.
Sorryociffer 01-28-2005, 08:22 AM When your stereo is up and extended, would it block access or the view of the Navigation/trip computer if one had it?
S.O.
hurricanefan1 01-28-2005, 10:16 PM It would not block the view, from what I can tell. You should still be able to see the monitor from the driver side. Don't quote me on that, but from looking at that spot where the NAV would go inside my truck with the screen up, I can see it just fine.
MARLO27 01-31-2005, 11:54 PM where can i get a kit online for the aftermarket stereo
where can i get a kit online for the aftermarket stereo
Marlo what dash do you have. Do you already have an XE dash. Or do you have the RF stereo. that will tell us what we need to tell you to get. If you have the RF stereo then you need to order the XE dash. I know you can get it for about 40 or 50 from nissanparts247.com go there and call Jamie in the service department he will get you what you need. THen you need to decide on what Head unit you want. That will tell us what kit you need. It is going to depend on if you want a single din or double din unit. Let us know.

NIZMO04 02-01-2005, 04:19 PM Here is a picture of my stereo, and currently working on a box with 4 8" Audiobahns.NICE SET UP,SO WHERE DID YOU PURCHASE THE PIONEER FOR THAT PRICE?EVERY PLACE I CHECK WANTS $1899??
drmstlr66 02-02-2005, 10:32 PM I've got a pair of MTX 12's in boxes, that I haven't put in yet, but they fit perfectly under the back seat of my CC. As soon as I get the amp wired up I'll post some pictures. I had to order some grilles to make sure the under part of the seat wouldn't damage the cones.
SMOKEDYA2 02-03-2005, 03:03 AM i believe i seen the pioneer touchscreen for $1499 at best buy.
