i just got the 6in pro comp stage 1. I plan on trimming the fender as much as needed. but i am wanting opinions on wether to go with a 36x13 irok or 37x13 dick cepek II for the tires. will the 37's still rub even after the fender is trimmed? I will be running the tires on a 17x9.
thanks

I think I'd go with the 37's personally. I don't know that they will rub or not after your trimming, though. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Well myself im going with 35's just for the reason that I will be doing alot of offroading and if I was to go any bigger they will rub big time while i am offroading I would like very much to go bigger but i dont want to trim anything on my baby 35's will do just fime for now. Just my 2 cents. Peace Out....

Call me crazy, but I just have a problem with putting EVEN #'s on my tires. I am a fan of 31's, 33's, 35's, 37's. It's just more natural to me. I know this doesn't help at ALL...but that's just the way I think. HAVE FUN and make sure to give us the pictures!!!

HEY FELLOW NEVADAN!
gonna be liftin soon, just wondering how well the procomp coilovers have been doin in offroad situations. really want the stage2 but have been hearing mixed reviews about the coilovers.

37's? as for the tire question, if you like the DCFCII then you would really like the new procomp xtreme allterrains in 37/17's and the 4 for 3 tire sale strts oct 1st. i've seen them in person and they're sweet. deep tread depth, traction siping, sidewall tread, stone kickers and longwearing comnpound. if i was gonna get 37's this would be my tire.IMO

The procomp kit uses 3" straight aluminum blocks in the rear, correct? If so, you'll need to trim in the rear if you go with 37's. I use 4" CST blocks, which move the rear axle forward about .75", centering the axle and wheels in the wheel well. My 37's stuff perfectly - there's no extra room, but they're even in the front and back of the rear wells.

The problem spot is the rear of the front fender well. If you're turning right, then the outside of the right front tire rubs. Of course it all depends on offset/backspacing and wheel width, but you're going to have a hard time trimming enough with just a 6" lift and 37's. There does reach a point where you can't really trim anymore without going through panels. With 6", major trimming and 37's you'll be good for the street, but you may still have a little rubbing when you go play in the dirt.

Have you considered adding a 2" PRG lift in the front, and the CST 4" blocks with PRG/Deaver leaf upgrades in the rear?

yes i've thought of that, but is it safe to stack the prg lift and the coil spacers of the stage 1 lift? I may have to bite the bullet and get the fox coilovers, i'm just not looking to spend the extra money right now, maybe later on. Isn't DR coming out with a leaf spring replacement for the rear?
thanks
