I just purchased the US Speedo stainless steel gauge and would appreciate any pointers on how to install it when it arrives. This is the one that is supposed to install over the existing gauge face.

I am terrible at getting pics posted. There is a big image available on US Speedo's site at http://www.usspeedo.com/fresh.html. I should get the gauge next week - I'll see what I can do to get a pic posted.

I looked at the Nu Image gauge first, but the US Speedo was cheaper. I think the difference is US Speedo installs over your existing gauge and has laser cut numbers so your existing dash lighting shines through - Nu Image replaces your existing gauge and your dash lights shine through an opaque plastic built into the gauge.

And what's the $$$ difference between the two?

US Speedo was $137.99 with free shipping. The Nu Image was about the same price, but I wanted the stock dash lighting, not the bright red color that comes with the Nu Image gauge...and, they gave me another $10 off the Titan scoop for buying the US Speedo gauge. That probably helped me make up my mind.

I'd do almost anything to get rid of that crappy orange lighting Nissan put in the truck! They should have used a soft green like most manufacturers.

I'd go with the NuImage is they are a replacement part. I've seen the overlay parts before (from APC) and they always look blurred.

when I was at SEMA last week, I talked to the guys from Nu Image and they are sending me a set of the stainless steel gauges in the mail. I should get them any day now.

I haven't gotten the gauges yet, but I confirmed that they use the factory lighting and they DO replace the factory gauges.
