: just installed blue led's in my truck *pictures*

i just got done installing 16 blue 5mm 7000mcd led's
i put 4 in each front door and one in the front cup holder 1 in the rear at the base of the center console and 6 in the rear dome light here are the pictures

Josh, the ones you have in the doors...do you have just the one at the top or are there ones in the lower pockets too?

joshv53 10-31-2005, 09:43 AM in the front door panels there are 4 blue led's total in each door. there in one up top pointing down and then there is 2 in the large pocket at the bottom and 1 in the small pocket

Thanks. Driving home tonight I began to look around at "possible" locations for lights. I can't decided between Red(color of my truck) or Amber(dash light color). I think Amber would look more "factory" and therefore gice her some Bling points, while Red would just give er an awesome glow of power. HMMMMMMMMM.

joshv53 11-01-2005, 05:39 PM my friends and I did the install in about 3 hours, they had both done it to there cars also, but as for the wiring its pretty much common sense positive to positive negative to negative, the hardest part is taking the door panels off, and make sure u sodder resistors to the leds or else the leds will blow.
italia490 11-02-2005, 08:20 AM Do you have a link for the led's? Did you wire them up to a switch or do they come on with the courtesy lights?
joshv53 11-02-2005, 06:40 PM the leds are wired to a toggle switch which is wired to the cigarette lighter fuse. the overhead light however is wired like a normal dome light and comes on when the door opens and such
