Does anyone have any pics of their truck before and after the install of the PRG Mini Lift?

Yes a couple of members do. M4ck does for sure. You'll have to search for it though, sorry.

I tried using the search, but since everyone has "PRG lift" in their sig, every post from forever comes up in the results. :(

Baja, I really like that pic of your truck (the second one) - you should use that in your sig!! You know, mix it up a bit! ;)

I'll be dipped if I can find these pics on my machine. If you go to Titantalk.com and look up my name in the photo gallery you will find a cool pic of PRG and not PRG. Sorry for the cross posts moderators!

Here's the pics Destro was talking about. His truck with 2.5" front PRG, mine stock.

Thanks Mitch. I probably renamed these pictures and now they are lost within the 13046 pictures on my machine.

Is the truck on the right a 4x4? If it is...WOW. Nice upgrade for a small price. And the ride isn't affected at all?

Both trucks are 4x2, Destro's truck has the offroad package wheels on it. The 285/70/17 tires are .4" taller than my 265/70/18 tires. On the 4x2 the 2.5" lift is perfect. The ride is still stock, but the truck feels just a little bigger. I did the helper springs soon after the PRG, it's a great combo. Here's a pic of mine after the PRG:

I think the ride quality has been affected a little from before PRG. With the new bumpstops that come in the kit when you do hit a larger bump it feels a little less harsh. One thing that may seem insignificant, is that I don't feel like my seat is tilted downhill like it was pre PRG. For me I wanted to level the truck because it just looked "tired" with the stock tilt. 2 more cents.

I'm with Destro on the seat comment. I don't feel like I'm sliding out on every stop now. I still want to move my seat further back.

Does the 2.5 work on 4x4 as well. Does it change the overall height of the vehicle?? (Has to fit in the garage.) Is is a hard job to do yourself at home??

Any pro's or con's with installing the rear blocks as well?

Not sure whether to only install the front or go with the whole mini lift?

Thoughts??

I went w/ the mini lift. I like having a slight amount of rake still. Also on another Titan site it was mentioned that if you click on the title someplace on the homepage there are special deals. I found it. Unfortunately I already had my PRG.

If you go to www.titanspecialist.com and click on the "DOT" in .com it will take you to the discount offering. Your order however needed to be postmarked by November 30th 2005. :(

do you have to change the rancho shocks with the prg mini lift? I have read here that the daystars dont work well with the shocks, but never heard anything about the prg and factory ranchos. :ouch: i really digg the look of all your trucks in the pics above ! but i dont want change shocks just for 2 in. i use my truck for work so i dont want a big lift.ladders are already hard to get on and off my rack.

If I am correct the Daystars go inside of the spring pack and thus make the assemly longer (extending the shock longer). The PRG installs on top of the spring pack and doesn't effect the overall length of the spring pack (the shock still retains the same extension and travel). The entire stock spring pack is just been lowered and your ride is now level. Another thing is that you can definately do the entire PRG with common tools and a couple torque wrenches and the Daystar is going to require a spring compressor. Don't forget about the alignment right after you get done. Just go with the PRG you will be glad you chose wisely.
