Looking at the last version I hope for the stereo. Does anyone have input on the Stealthbox versus the Thunderform? I haven't heard the Stealthbox, and the Thunderform is due out soon. They do have them for other trcks, so I am hoping someone has heard them. Thanks.

well devil i used to be in the car stereo seen heavy and from my expierence and many installs the jl is a better product. ive read up on these two for the titan and the jl seems to be using better subs in thier box. if i was buying it would be the jl and i have used and heard several mtx installs and even a few thunderforms. im not downing mtx i just think in this application jl wins!

Thanks for the input. I went to a stereo shop last night and we did some thinking. I am not saying no to the stealthbox, but for a JL shop, they sure made all the JL subs sound bad. I have given up on the MTX box. It is VERY cheap and plastic looking.

there is a big difference listening to them in a large area, then in a vehicle. JL takes alot of time and money into R&D for those stealth boxes. I was doubtful at first, but thos 10w3 sound really really good. i am past all the deep bass, and this is loud. You are probably not going to see one in a shop, they are special ordered and usually JL makes them once ordered. You should not be disappointed in this box. I am supposed to meet with Patrick and hear his. THe owner of the shop had three 8W7 with a 500/1 on each in his truck. I told him I was not happy with the sound room, and we listened in his truck. I did like that, but could tell that the newer 8's were not hitting like i remembered the old one hitting. Might be age, might be my desire to hear the music and not feel it now. I just got finiky I guess.
