Anybody else going through NHL withdrawl??!! :( I used to have NHL Center Ice and watch some every night. Saw more of the Avalanche last year than I had since they moved to Denver. Now, re-run television and the Learning Channel have taken it's place. I NEED MY HOCKEY BACK!!!!

You're not the only one. I've got season tickets, which are doing me no good at all this year.

I was beginning to think I was all alone on this. There are some folks meeting today with out the leauge and player big bosses. Maybe they can agree on what shape table to meet at this time.

I wish somebody would talk to anybody and get this thing fixed. Both sides are block headed, if you ask me. No more sympathy for any of them...

But we'll both be back with our money as soon as the games start again. Thankfully, I have the local AHL team and my kid's roller hockey team to somewhat fill the void.

Did you hear about the Dad up in Canada that choked out his kid's coach for benching him??? The kid was benched because he missed practice. Now who's fault do you think that was???

You're right, of course, no matter what they do, I'll be back in my seat the first game. I haven't gone to any AHL games this season. Probably should have. My son is off at college, otherwise I'd be going to his games. He played four years of high-school club hockey, I think I can still drive the trip up to the practice rink while sleeping.

Didn't hear about the choking incident. What a jerk, and boy, isn't he teaching his kid something about responsibility?

I am not a fan at all. What concerns me for you fans is, with loosing this season, a lot of fans will become disgusted, and move on. This will take away from what is all ready kind of a small fan base. I hope hockey can recover!

I have heard that if this season can't be salvaged, which appears to be the case, the league may come back in a smaller fashion. Some of the smaller market teams collapsing and the players being drafted/redistributed. Will help the quality of the on ice product, but would be bad for the newer or less financed teams. Sorry, specV.

I would also hope they go back to the older style of rule enforcement. The clutching and grabbing that has become accepted has ruined the marque players ability to showcase their talents. It has taken away from the game enormously!

True, but those bone crushing hits into the glass are cool!!! Love a good collision in the middle of the ice, too.

Hitting is and always has been a good part of the game. It is the holding that has become so prominate I can't handle.

Umm isn't hocky that game where guys figure skate with sticks in there hands. LOL Just kidding guys. I dont get into watching it on tv but we have a local minor league team that we like to watch play. The Greenvill Growwl. LOL goofy name but fun to go see. I like the fast pace action. Oh yeh and the fights. Lots of good old fashioned throw down the gloves and kick someones butt fights. Hope things work out for you NHL fans.

The really bad thing is that most weak market teams are Canadian. This may be enough to wipe some of them out, and there aren't many left.

Pretty sad if you ask me.

I thought "hockey" was what you stepped in while walkin' through a pasture, at least in Oklahoma it is  . Seriously, when the USA won the "Gold", I got hooked, never missed a game. Hope things work out.

Imagine this: You have season tickets 3 rows off the glass, in the corner, at the home team end AND you live 2 miles from a BRAND NEW hockey building with Gretzky in the front office. and no hockey. Top it all off with the fact that i don't have a titan yet and.... well, i need another beer.
