I'm doing some serious thinking about lifting my Titan for a max of 6", however, I know jack about suspension and lift basics and requirements.
I need some help on the following topics:

What do I look for on tires and wheel sizes? What's the currend tire size of the Off road package 17" wheels?
I know I can buy a lift kit that includes everything for the lift except the wheels and tires; for a 6" lift, what's the tire and wheel reqs?
How much do you think it costs for a good 6" lift kit, including labor?

In order for me to do some searching, I need to know these requirements and basics.
I've spoken with the wife yesterday and told her I'll be putting some money on the side starting January for this lift, and she gave me the "go for it". Hopefully I'll have enough money saved for a complete set (lift, wheels and tires) by my birthday (April).

I was never a big fan of lifts, but I've been seeing some nice jobs on some Titans here and on the roads.

I've been quoted about $2500 for the Fabtech Stage 2 (the good one) including labor , allignment, and warranty on the parts and labor from Les Schwab Tires (West coast retail chain). The popular tire sizes post lift seem to be 35" in either a BF Goodrich Mud-Terrian T/A or Toyo Open Country M/T, the tires run about $350 a piece for the BFG's or about $370 for the Toyos. I prefer the Toyos. Hope this helps some.

Those tires you mentioned, 35", would I need bigger rims also? Or could I use the factory ones?
