Winter is here, enough people from VA we have. I was thinking of going on some trails for a meet. Anyone from here know where we could do this?

I'm dying to take this bad boy off roading. Imagine the photo opertunities, and the fun on coming back home with the truck full of mud? Man, we need to make this happen. C'mon guys? I know we have some off road trails in the mountains, we just have to find them.

Sounds like a fun trip. Time off for me is my only drawback. If I can make it I'm up for it. Those trails seem to be more mountain trails than mud trails which is fine by me, I grew up in the muc in Florida. A little less is a good thing.

Well, I said I want to put some mud on the truck, but I think it would be better just a medium trail, this way those without 4x4 can follow on.

It'd be great to have a meet. Just tell me where and I'll go ("When" is more important than "where" for me). Absolutely a no no in between Dec 24th and Jan 1st though

Yeah, probably won't be a GO for anyone until atleast 2006 starts. I would be up for it as long as I am off. *note* I have everyother weekend OFF. I'm working this coming weekend (9,10,11) Just a request to keep me in mind when planning.

I was thinkng somewhere around February-March, this way there will be enough snow on the ground for us to play around with our trucks, or we can wait untill the summer, it's up to you guys. The point is, we have more than enough people from the area, and we could do another great meet around the Virginia-Carolina border.

I am up for a meet as well. I am in East Tn.. Knoxville so the VA/NC area is good. It would be great to see all of your alls trucks in person. Anytime is good for me.

Thanks, goval, but all I said was I couldn't comitt to a road trip. If we can do something in our area, I'd be more likely to make it. ENSCLARK and I were talking about doing a quickie meet at a wing's place we like. I have no idea where we can go for off-raoding around here, but I'd be up for that, too.

Don't let me stop you from planning an away meet, either. I'll catch one when I can.

I'm interested in this. Let me know. I'm in Lynchburg (Central VA). I'll also do some digging around and see where the local off-roaders go around here. Mountains, mountains and mountains galore.

I think if he sees us, he'd prolly slow down or speed up so he won't be close to us. They know better, lol.
I might not go with yal though. I'm most likely heading up to Jersey a day or 2 before so I can drop my daughter at my sister's house up north, about 1 hour from the meet.
