Got allot of snow last night. Went out this morning got in the truck and the door would not stay closed. I had to bring it in the hanger to warm up. I got the outside door handle to finally pop open so I assume the cable was stuck or froze. Can anyone tell me how to remove the door panel? I don’t want to break any clips or whatever is holding it on. THANKS!
1. Remove inside door panel by removing 4 screws using a phillips screwdriver. Locations are: 2 behind the diagonal door grab-handle cover piece; just use small screwdriver to pop the top/bottom hidden clips, being careful not to scuff it up. 1 behind the small square cover (maybe 1" sq) just below door handle. 1 behind the larger cover piece behind same door handle.
2. Now just pry the door panel out from bottom up, popping the clips as you go. Panel will move at this point. To remove all together, you will have to disconnect door handle, and lock linkage.
NOTE: I have not done this myself, I copied these instructions from another thread.
