I was like what the h*ll. They say oh we are sorry we will fix this...it gets better... So now im pissed and on my wau to get in my truck i see a huge deep scratch in my driver door!!!! So needless to say some more yelling and more we are sorry blah blah blah...end of the story my truck goes back next monday and they have to paint my door and the new bumper cap...also for my troubles they are going to color match my bumper galaxy, and free oil changes for life....sorry it rambles....
TITAN57 12-13-2005, 07:53 PM I always think it is hilarious when the dealer offers free service to make
good on their screw-ups. I wonder what they are going to f'up when you
bring it in for the free service.
littlebuddha19 12-13-2005, 07:53 PM That sucks.
But you seemed to get a pretty good deal in the end.
I like the free oil change for life.
free oil changes...??? ummmmmmmmmm tak it in every 2,000 miles.... ur truck will last 4evvverrrrrrr
SimplyTitan 12-13-2005, 10:12 PM well at least you get the bumper done nicely and can add it your blacked out list...
jkcparker 12-13-2005, 10:16 PM Im thinking ill really take advantage of this oil change thing too...maybe every 100 miles lol 8O

thats exactly what i was thinking...one last thing to worry about blacking out... but now im worried whats going to happen while my truck is there this time....
jaysplaypen 12-13-2005, 10:32 PM I never leave mine there for that reason. It is more of a pain to baby sit, them, but then you know it is right. My dealer has a window so you can watch them, and after the first accident I would watch them the whole time. So they tried moving it to the only bay I could not see from the window, so I went out in the shop. From them on they parked right in front of the window for me to watch, since they do not want me in the shop.
After buying the new one at a different dealer I have had it there for a few minor replacement of things, and there tech let me in the garage with them all the time. They know it is my baby, and let me under it, when it is on the lift and everything.

I have also found when I wait for it, they do move quickly. and if I ever had a problem with that, I could get a pack of m&m's from the vending machine and set the 6 year old free on a sugar high. They move much faster when the kids are going nuts.
baja220 12-14-2005, 06:17 AM When mine goes in for service I tell em No Wash, No spraying greasy crap all on the interior. Just fix it and park it.
puckerth 12-14-2005, 11:51 AM Sounds like a good deal if you can use the free oil changes for life at any other dealership. :P I know sometimes it's a necessity, but I loathe bringing any vehicle to a dealership and avoid it like the plague.

Shoot, I am in for a free wash for interior and exterior. Vehicles get dirty quick in TX. I can spare a few moment for a wash. Plus, I hate cleaning up messes that kids can make in cars. I don't know how they do it.
kytitan 12-17-2005, 05:52 PM Paint matched rear bumper and free oil changes for life. Wish my dealer would wreck my Titan.

Did you have tint dome all around the truck?
There something about a galaxy black titan, its just looks damn good.
Rossi 12-17-2005, 10:34 PM I just may have been banned from the dealership if they wrecked up my truck like that!!! But then...you sure can't beat free stuff!!! But really...could you trust them now??

TurboASR 12-20-2005, 09:10 PM I work at a dealership at the service department and we've had a couple of those happen not often but it happens. I've had friends that work at Chevy dealers and they've wrecked vettes on test drives.
Conkatruck 12-21-2005, 08:00 AM And I thought I'd had it bad. A couple months ago the dealership knocked the passenger mirror right the hell off my titan. They were real good about it though. Had a replacement over-nighted and gave me an Armada to drive as a loaner.
