ok, moving on.

i had sirius installed professionally about 2 months ago. i noticed i had lots of static so i brought it back and they told me that because of the powerful antenna that the RockFos system has, it pulls in signals on all the blank channels, thus creating distortion. so they re-installed the SAT thru the AUX button on my radio. the problem with the AUX is the Sat volume is waaaaay lower than the cd or radio. the sound quality is perfect, but the volume is just too low.
i've read on other threads that if you install a FM modulator into the radio, it will fix the static and volume problem. but the guy at the store told me that the RF system in my titan as a built in modulator, and theres no way to get the AUX powerful enough to sound like the radio.
im sure i cant be the only one whos experienced this. help me out please!!

I have a plug and play kit that I plug directly into the aux. plug in my dash. It does have a fm modulator in the sirius unit. I used to run into static with other channels interfearing. Thats why its in through the aux. I have no problem. Its sounds fine....

I just finished my install of a Sirius S50 yesterday. I also used the aux input on the dash. Sound is very low compared to radio/cd. I have S50 set a full volume and with factory system at full it is still too low. I also feel the sound it absolutely horrible compared to a good solid Fm signal or a cd. Im going to purchase a PAC input unit when they become available and try that but if that doesnt work Im going have to try some type of fm switch.

At least Im enjoying Sirius at this point.
