I have narrowed it down to two crew cab Titans
I am getting one because I love the look of the Titan with it lifted. My initial ideas are 6" lift, 20" wheels, tire approx 35". I will be doing 99%+ on rode and less than 1% off rode.
My questions are
1. Ride Quality after Lifted
2. Tire Noise
3. With a larger tire do you need to change gears
4. Gas Mileage
5. Which lift
6. What else do you need to do once lifted.
7. Since I won't be doing much off roading do I have to replace rear shocks
8. Reliability issues
9. Why do some trucks not look right with the lift and wheels while other trucks with a simular setup look incredible
10. What is the metric equivilant of the 35" tire, what is recommended
10. Never owned a truck anything else I need to be aware of?

Thanks

Sorry, but that is all the help, or lack thereof I can be. i have a 2WD, and my garage is also verticaly challenged. I can't even get my Titan in this POS "Two Car" garage without folding the mirrors in. I hate compact cars./

I have a 2wd CC with the CST 8" lift and I am around 84" +/- 1". It may be very close with a 6" lift.

I hear ya, it is like docking a cruise ship, I need a crew to guide me in. My garage sucks! I don't even bother trying anymore.

I never could fit mine in my garage due to its length(storage room takes up 3ft)

I have on '05 crew cab and had many of the same questions. I did alot of research about lift kits. I also took ALOT of MEASUREMENTS regarding fitting it in my garage once it is lifted.

I went with a ProComp 6" lift (stage 2), so it includes the coil over...which has claims to have a better ride quality.

I have 22" wheels sitting in the garage and am waiting on the 35's to arrive from Toyo Tires. They should be here next week sometime.

I have a 7' tall garage door and per my calculations I SHOULD have approximatly 1" of room...so I figure to have closer to 1/2" of room.

I guess I'll let you all know when its put together!
