I know your the man to go for info on our trucks. I have a brake problem that no one seems to know the solution. I had replaced my OEM brakes with Stillen's BBK. After a year or so, I noticed that my front brakes were binding as if the calipers were locked while driving. This caused my rotors to heat up and my pads to wear down. At times, it would be so hot, it smoked. After rebuilding the calipers and the problem reoccuring, I replaced the whole kit and reverted back to OEM. After a few days of no brake problems, the calipers began to bind again. Now Im sure its not the rotors or the calipers because its all new. I took it to the dealer and of course there was no error code and they could not find the problem. I do noticed that this problem would occur when I would apply the brakes hard just before it would lock. Would this be an ABS problem? No lights have lit up on the dash when the brakes bind. Your help is greatly appreciated.
